48 Hour Rule

So, When i decide to sell an account, or post a thread, and don't get any responses for one reason or another, it ends up getting buried. I get a message saying "You must wait 48 hours before posting on this thread." This means I haveto go back into my post copy it all and just make a new one, maybe it'll happen again and i haveto do the same thing. It really just cause spam, looks like you're spamming which may lead to infractions, and really isn't worth it.

Some people will just say, "Wait the 48 hours out", When we all know.. If you or anyone are trying to sell an account, you really don't want to wait 2 days before people can see it again..

If nobody agrees with this, sorry for wasting your time i suppose.

My Suggestion:

• Either change the '48 hour rule' before you can post on your own thread before someone else has posted to something like 24 hours
  
• Or completely just take it out and be able to post whenever.
  
• Also, possibly changing the 24 hour bump rule? but i was wondering if there was a way to do that without gaining posts, like not a bump button, but maybe.. typing something in to bump a thread and if you type that specific word in or something you don't get a post.. Idk where im going with this one, but I really do hop the 48 hour thing is reduced or taken out

I doesn't really matter to me if people support or not, just something I've noticed which may help some users.

 

You're breaking the rules if you make another thread selling the same account. You have to wait out the 48 hours. I know that it seems like a long time, but there are hundreds of other people trying to sell their accounts too!

After you wait 48 hours/someone posts on your thread, you only have to wait 24 hours between bumps.

 

Yeah.. but that 'only' 24 hours or 48 hours could mean someone who would have been interested in your account, didn't see it and doesn't see it in the future, which means you don't make the sale. 1 Bump lasts an hr maybe in the 60-99 Pures Section, and i know for myself i only check the first page really, I just think it could help potential buyers and sellers to make a sale.

 

The situation wouldn't change. If every account seller bumps his thread within 5 seconds, all the other thread would be pushed down, etc.

Besides, it'd create a lot of unneeded spam (haha).

 

not saying every 5 seconds, maybe every hour or two ^_^

 

It's the same thing. Try visualizing it, you'll see that it wouldn't really help you.

 

The reason why threads dont last long is because of your mentality.. making threads constantly and bumping them constantly pushes all the other threads down..

Also, people who use the market regularly know to go back several pages to see active threads.

the 48 hour rule only exists for the first reply.. its to stop spam, it works.

 

I don't support this. To be honest I think 48 hours is good because it stop spams.

Yea sorry no support from me either. It was set like this for a reason to avoid spam.

 

Also, if you have a person that is genuinely interested, and is willing to go a few pages back to find a nice account, then that's always a good sign, but if nobody responds then obviously nobody is interested (yet) and you just need to either wait it out or give up and close the thread (but don't post a new one for like... a couple of days).

I would support changing the 48-hour rule to 24-hour.

I agree, it doesn't make sense that the first bump should take 48 hours then the rest should take 24..

 

This will not change, I can almost guarantee it. Let me catch you making threads to bypass this rule and you'll be dealt with swiftly and harshly.

 

im sorry but the rules work out efficiently the way they are once u have had a little more experience on sythe you will come top realise this

 

It's been suggested many times before and been died all those times. It's not going to be changed.
