This is obviously fake. You can't use any type of tool to get other player's IP's over Runescape, if that's what you're referring to. If it has to do with social engineering then it's very hard to pull off unless you know what you're doing, not worth it IMO.

 

Nope. There is no tool and basically no social engineering.
I would have to explain for you to see how simple it is. It uses all in game methods.

 

Probably get them to log into a noob account.

EDIT: Easiest way by far anyways.

Me: "OMG! I JUST RECOVERED AN ACCOUNT WITH BGS! "
Player: "O.O you're lying"
Me: "I'm not! I swear!"
Me: "Ok, If you think I'm lying go look for yourself! Just don't take the BGS!"
Player: "REALLY?!! OK! I won't!"
Me: *PM's username and password to random level 3*
*Player has logged out*
.....
*Player has logged in*

Simple, now just log into the level 3 and look at the last IP to log in.. there ya go. It can't get ANY easier than that.. if it is please let me know.

 

Regarding the game of Runescape, the only reason why one would to know the IP address of another player is solely for malicious intent, so as a result I'm gonna request that this topic be closed.
