Racism in today's world.

 

He probably turned himself in knowing he would go to prison. Now he has a place to live and food to eat, so he doesn't have to worry about dying on the streets anymore. Either way though, 15 years is just ridiculous. The justice system is so fucked up.

 

He had to have had a really fucked up record, no way they would just give someone 15 years for stealing $100 lol

 

Actually i believe the reason on why he was sentenced is because he said it was armed. I watched a youtube video where a guy held up a bank for $20, and still got a long time in prison because it was considered an armed robbery. If he was never to be armed, i don't think he would be in jail for that long.

 

That's messed up...Mad respect to the homeless guy though, he definitely does not deserve 15 years, let alone 15 days for stealing $100. That's total bullshit.

 

Its also based on previous records, which might have a lot to do with why he was sentenced to 15 years but that still is unreasonable it was $100. And it was armed robbery because of how he had his arm in his pocket.

 

The homeless man is lucky.

He gets food. shelter. clothes, etc.

99.99% chance he was in prison before, got out, didn't know how to behave and was scared so he committed a crime to get back in.

The CEO probably paid of the Judge or did something along those lines.

If he really wanted the money he would've taken more but I feel that this was a blatant attempt to get jailed.

I lived in Shreveport for about a year. 100dollars isn't even considered a felony.

 

It's truly sad to see what the world has come to. People living on the streets day to day just trying to survive. Moments of desperation because in reality that 100$ could probably fee that man for a month. Then you have the other side of things with a greedy fucker who is in a huge scheme robbing potentially 1000's of family's that add's to the world homeless problem he probably created numerous homeless family yet still only receives a slap on the wrist. This honestly makes me sick to my stomach where is the logic in today's society. Yes the homeless man stole but only to survive. Whereas the greedy man stole cause it just simply wasn't enough.

Haha yea.. I used to live in Shreveport where the black guy was arrested at. That whole area up there the law is sooo crooked not even funny.

 

I did think of this but he obviously showed he had a conscious meaning he was probably a decent person. I think everyone deserves the right to live and to have food and shelter as well as the right to an education. If they choose the life of criminal activity after that then they should be punished. But a person doing something just to make it to the next day is a different circumstance. It seems as though he was trying to change his life by going to rehab. Desperation causes people to do out of the ordinary things.

 

It's the south of usa too, i'm not sure about it now but i remember from history lessons that south was alot more racist than the north.. Still 3 years for $3B and 15 for $100 is horrid.
