Where can I buy a VPS?

I've never used one before and am curious how they work/how much they cost. Is there a trusted member on Sythe who sells them?

The bronze plan is $13+/- for 1gb of ram and go up from there. They come loaded with the bot clients and are VERY easy to setup. Takes about 10-15min if you're completely new to the whole idea. They give you a detailed guide on how to setup everything up as well.

I can run a SW bot with a bit of lag for days on end without logging out unless there's an update.

 

I have heard good things about Photon VPS but i have never actually used it myself

 

vps's in the long run aren't really worth it. just buy a nice game station or just a good computer in general and bot. you will make more money than with a vps because there wont be that monthly fee. your electric bill won't be a lot only about 20-30 dollars extra a month [ or you can even do what I do and get a flat rate [i do the same for my net provider]

 

Photon/Seerhost/BotVps are the only good ones that come to mind.

They cost anywhere from $5 to $50 or more, depending on the provider and plan. I wouldn't recommend paying more for a big name like PhotonVPS for botting when there are plenty of cheaper alternatives. Photon might not go down at all in a month, compared to once or twice for a few hours for other providers, but that's the main difference, and for botting, not that big of a deal. I like Pritell (you can run Windows if you want, and the support was good), but there are several others with similar pricing. If you can, find a few reviews (Webhostingtalk.com or another site). Just make sure that the resources are dedicated, not shared (Don't get OpenVZ).
You generally access a VPS via a VNC Viewer, and there is a very good setup guide on powerbot (I believe it is also posted on RSBuddy, but I'm not sure).

 

If you're still planning on buying a VPS, don't bother buying a cheap one, they are worthless.
