Google+

Who uses it? I honestly think it has some potential, the design is nice and simple and familiar etc. What do you guys think of it?

It's only popular because google made it, when you get down to the basics its just another basic social network like ******* and Facebook.

 

It's okay I suppose. I have an account but I was only on it twice.

 

I love it cause of how much CPU it saves.

 

This is true, but when facebook came out, it was just another basic social network like my-space and those dating sites and it brought about the death of my-space. Mike Zuckerbourg also started it with minimal funding (I think?), while Google has immense funding. It'll be interesting to see where they go with it, they certainly have the funds to make it something good I'm sure

 

I like it a lot but nearly no one I know has it.

We'll see how it plays pit once it goes public.

 

It's only a project right now isn't it? That's probably why no one I know has it either yet.. I hope they release it soon then

 

With a lot of advertising I think I could be a success. If Mark Zuckerburg can start with pretty much $20k and make a social networking site with over 500 million users, there's no reason why Google couldn't get a reasonable amount of people to use Google+.

Obviously, Google have a lot more resources at their disposal. With a large amount of advertising, anything can be sold to the public.

 

Yeah, like I said, they've got the resources and the foundation to make anything successful. I mean, check out the response their Sony Google TV is getting haha

 

It looks very nice. Looking forward to how it turns out

 

I have an account, not really any use for it right now because only a small amount of people I know use it, that could change in the future though.
