Which Famous Person(s) have you met or seen?

Just thought this would be a cool topic, post any cool stories of celebrities, sports stars, actors, etc that you've met/seen or want to meet (make sure to specify whether you've actually met them or not)

For me, when I went to Italy in Summer 2008, I ran into George Lopez at the Vatican of all places. My brother and I recognized him right away, but we weren't 100% sure if it was him or not. After we finally manned up and asked if he was George Lopez he said yes, we took pictures, and than a mob of American Tourists gathered around him and he was escorted by his bodyguard.

-Yao Ming when the Chinese Olympic Team played against a bunch of Free Agents in Dallas
-Nascar Drivers: Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr (NSJ)
-Front Row seats to Switchfoot
-And I go to school and am friends with the bassist from School Of Rock (Rebecca Brown) She's dating one of my clustermates so I see her all the time.

Seen hundreds of famous musicians at shows, including The Offspring, Avril Lavigne, Bad Religion, Descendents, Keith Morris from Black Flag, Dropkick Murphys, met most of the Anaheim Ducks when they won the cup (Shawn Thornton is from my city, they all came to the bar that I used to work at), met Stephen Harper (prime minister of Canada), and Jack Layton (runner up nominee in the last election, NDP)

 

I've met quite a few famous hockey players.

I've got autographs from both Wayne Gretzky and Bobby Orr.
I've had dinner with the Ottawa Senators hockey team. (My uncle owns their favourite restaurant)
I've also been to Mike Fisher's cottage (former Ottawa Senators player, now plays for Nashville) and spent the day there with him and my uncle. Unfortunately that was before him and Carrie Underwood were seeing eachother.
Lastly, I've also met Don Cherry, and been to his house.

 

I've met quite a few NRL players, the actor Dennis Hopper, and a few musicians after they did gigs where I used to live in California.

 

Mother Theresa live and in person.

 

I haven't met anyone famous, but I've seen oprah when she flew into my town to visit her lake house (she landed in bowerman field in hoquiam WA) and someone won a contest from walmart and got to meet Tom cruise so I saw him in person too

 

I shook Mickey Mouse's hand at Disney world.

I met & took a photograph (paid 20 yuan) with the guy who found the terracotta warriors on his farm in china. He comes in a couple times a week to the Terrcattoa Musem and allows people to take pictures for $20, he also wrote a book and signed it for me!

Funny though, on the way to the musem the guide told us we cant take pictures with him because the farmer beleived photo cameras take off a layer of your soul when they flash, i guess he stopped beleiving that when people started paying him money.

Great guy, not a lick of english though.

 

Saw the guy from the pirate movies when he was filming something at my ex girlfriends store. Seen hundreds of people from bands at shows. Bunch more

Never seen anyone here in little old Dunedin.

 

I've seen some different people when I lived near holly wood but I didn't recognize most of them. I just saw people swooning over them. I met David Beckam, Brad Pit and blink 182 in person. That's all I can think of on the spot.

I used to see Amy Winehouse a lot, talked to her a couple times on the bus, since she lived where I do. This was before she got famous, so i'm not sure if it counts.
David Beckham in the street, seen quite a lot of famous football players in the clubs near where I live. Outside there's usually a row of £500000 cars.
