What is a safe amount of gold to buy?

I have been playing on my account for the past couple years and it's too hard to buy bonds knowing how much more gold I could get every time.

What's a safe amount to buy in osrs these days without getting banned? Like 100m is probably fine? Thoughts?

 

Right now? it's super hot, and they take your gp + items so yeaaaaah

We always recommend to buy OSRS Items over OSRS Gold since it is far more natural then purchasing OSRS Gold. There is no "safe" amount of gold/items to purchase. There is always risk you get banned and this has more to do with WHO you are buying from.

Many gold sellers trade you on F2P on low valued accounts and kamikaza RWT trade - they eventually get banned. If you bought gold around the time they get RWT banned you would get slapped with a ban as well. So it matters a lot who you are purchasing from.

The amount says more about if you have the chance to get perm RWT banned. I would say buying 500M+ can cause your account to be banned permanently. Purchasing low amounts of gold usually causes a temporary ban.

If i were you, do good research to who you are buying from, make sure they use high combat level accounts (with high total level), trade in p2p worlds, and purchase some osrs items worth 100-200m. Should be very safe.
