    I was permanently banned from the Sythe Discord for reporting a message a user sent.

    Detailed description of the events that took place and why you disagree with the decision:
    I let a guy rage bait me by being racist and I reported his message. I understand now that reporting it wasn't the problem, it was the way I reported it. I shouldn't have reported it through the form I did, I should have contacted one of the mods in the Sythe Discord instead of sending in a platform report.

    Like I said above, if I'm let back in, I won't ever use that report button again. If I have a problem with anyone I'll contact actual Sythe staff instead of using the report button. I really enjoyed my time in the discord seeing as it was active, just hope to be able to come back.

    To be honest, I don't think your ban was very justified in the first place. I think it should be expected for users to report something that violates a platform's policies. It's up to Sythe staff to maintain the discord in alignment with discord's policy if we'd like to use the platform.
    However, historically, we've experienced mass reports from users with malicious intent and discord has abhorrent customer support leading to invalid bans. Considering there was no malicious intent here, I'm lifting the ban. This makes 5 supports regardless. I appreciate your patience and understanding through out this process. We'll make adjustments for similar scenarios in the future as well.
