SSD's are wonderful but if you're on a tight budget do not try to fit it in, I'd rather get a more powerful vid card or something then SSD straight up.

Don't go for more then 8gigs of ram, waste of money/.

Not immediately, but I'll probably OC it eventually to around 4GHz. That seems to be a pretty safe number.

For my current specifications, see below.

Don't ask how much it cost, I am not sure of the exact price as I built it myself over the course of a number of years, though most of the parts were bought at standard market prices.

I've actually got some but they are from before I had to upgrade to a new case to accommodate my new motherboard.

I'll try and take some for you soon. ;)

Considering I earn a small income from building PC's, I'm not to bothered whether or not your skeptical.

If you really want, I can send you a screen shot of me maxing out my FPS up to 1000. :D

Yeah, I had to sell two fairly decent guitars and save up around 2 years of income and birthday cash to get it. :D

    Haha, very nice. :p
    prices would be something like
    990x-$1200?
    Mobo-$350?
    ram-$300ish?
    590-$700?
    monitor -$300ish.
Just guessing tho cbf looking up prices.

Tyler, that's all top of the end, I usually wouldn't expect someone from Sythe to have such a beast of a rig.

Well, I'm British, but I think the monitor cost me quite a bit more than that pounds to dollar wise.

Oh and I'm currently saving up for a 2.1 System and the Logitech G19 Keyboard + an LED Cooling Monitor for one of the front ports on my tower. :D

$5k? Lol thats such a waste, $1.5k-$2k is the most you'll ever need to spend on a PC(not including monitors and shit)
And no. Either go for these:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119225
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139007

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112261

All excellent cases from what I've heard.
Me personally I'd go with either the 600t white edit, the Lian Li or the HAF X.

I am currently using a 27 inch iMac. Don't get started with the console / computer wars, but my specs are as follows:
3.4 Ghz quad core i7 CPU
    2 TB HD
    8GB RAM
    ATI Radeon 6970 2GB

I would highly recommend a radeon graphics card, and if your looking for gaming try to get a graphics card with at least 1GB. Go for at least 1TB HD and at least 6GB of RAM I'd say and your set up for good gaming as long as you go for the right brands and stay savvy.
