The world of botting, it's easy, lucrative, and requires no time or effort. You have the ability to get a 99 and not spend an hour on it. Unless you have a lot of in game gold, most of the skills take 100 hours plus. Lets look at some things you could do with 100 hours of your valuable time:
Make real world money! Hypothetically speaking, you pick up a part time job at a minimum wage rate of 7.25 an hour, you could easily make 725 dollars, and a level 99.
If you don't really want to get a job, just play other games while you bot.

You may ask, why is this guy using this account rather then a fresh level 3 to share this information with people. The reason: I don't care. I can assure you that at one point I had 50+ bots, with three difference computers in separate locations that ran the bots, I have accounts that have plenty of of money. =]

My real purpose is to give the legit players some insight. Your player reports work, it is just a matter of taking the time to do it. I have had 3 bots banned so far. This was from the stages of trial and error. You eventually learn how to bot "Smart". For instance, this account was 14 day banned at one point. That is because I left it on overnight at the ranger's guild. This location is so well known to have bots, people go there to lure them. Don't bot there. If I assume correctly a lot of botters are like me, they learn how to avoid the player base and avoid ban. For example, I high alch bot in the middle of the grand exchange on world 2. 60-99 magic, quickly, and no ban. So even though the player reports work, they are ineffective in the war against bots, we just come back.
Just felt like rubbing it in your faces. You waste a big chunk of your lives, while I live my life. I have good accounts, without having to grind or merchant. Rather then grinding for hours I have fun in real life.

Runescape is ours, the land of the bots. Don't forget that.

 

Give it time my friend, and even Jagex will realize that bots have made a HUGE impact on the game. They will give up and allow them.

Because it wouldn't completely destroy the economy, nor would it destroy the game. All it takes is for an underground community to make a stand and commit this act of treason against Jagex. It's been done in numerous games, and it can be done in this done. All it takes is a little pushing.

It's not gonna happen man. They would never openly come out and say that botting is aloud, and they would never stop trying to ban the small amount of botters that they are catching now.

 

Another idiot. Advertising advantages of bots and bringing this to legit player's realization > More bots > Less buy and Economy crashes even harder > less profit.

JaGeX is never openly going to allow botting, they'll keep reassuring legit players that they are "combat" it.

Yeah, i know. I used to oppose botting before i came to his same realization.

 

I'm of the opinion that **Most** of the legit players in RS don't care about what other people are doing, like botting. The minority that do care are the ones talking the loudest. I relate this to the Republican Party (US) and the 'Tea Party' sect of the party. The ones making the most noise are in the small minority and to the rest of us the opinion of the few is also the opinion of the many.

Fortunately RS is filled with children that do not have access to the money required to buy/use bots.
