EpicBot Stole Everything. 100% Sure.

perhaps because he is giving bad rep to a friend of mine and his buddies site? An why use rsbuddy over epicbot? RSbuddy is far more scary than epicbot as it has freelance scripters etc never know what nasty txt they might add to their scripts.

i know right? lol he seems to think just because the bot is the only runescape related thing on his computer that he put on it that it was it that done it yet he has no anti virus probably no firewall which lets face it most are pretty easy to bypass unless via a router.

What the hell is wrong with your reasoning? They logged into my account AFTER I had logged out. My COMPUTER is password-protected so nobody else could have logged on, but EpicBot keylogged my RUNESCAPE password. Before you try to act smart and tell someone off, get your facts straight --- or, better yet --- stop flaming.

Okay, here:

1) I'm pretty sure you aren't 'friends' and EpicBot creator and his 'buddies'.

2) It's not illogical, if you actually thought it through you might realize that by taking everything from people with a small/medium amount of cash that people think they wouldn't bother doing such a thing.

3) I have Norton Antivirus. EpicBot is a Java based application that probably filters the login details when typing them in. It's not something Norton can detect because the program forces you to run in Administrative privileges, which, Oddly Enough, no other free bot does.

4.a) I am not stupid enough to fall for phishing sites, it was from epicbot.com. 'epic-bot.com' isn't even up anymore. That's just... wow, fail.

4.b) You're a troll that's trying to be funny and not succeeding. You'll probably reply again to this thread just so you can try to 'win'... I don't care. I'm done with you. You're not worth my time.

 

Just saying, but Norton is a pretty terrible AV... forgive me if this was already mentioned, but couldn't you have been ratted?

4.A. I have no idea when the phishing site got taken down because I don't fall for stupid things like that maybe you have which is why you knew it was down? I also don't even know if you did get ripped off. for all I know you could be a bot maker yourself trying to flame them or just a idiot trying to get post count up or hoping someone will feel sorry for you [ i'd go with the 2nd 1]

4.B. No actually I'm not a troll I'm just trying to give you some knowledge so you won't make the same stupid mistake again thinking because you have a pretty little thing that says " YOUR PASSWORD PROTECTED" makes you safe.

I don't know if you know this but you can get keylogged by the following.

Going to a link: yes something as simple as this can activate a java code if you accept which can also be hidden by a "are you sure you want to leave this site" message or anything like that you click yes and boom keylogged.

Downloading any file txt or otherwise. Keyloggers are getting more and more sneaky anymore no matter what the file they can implant a back drop that will run in your system without you even being aware of it via task manager etc.

So don't assume a site that makes more than they supposedly scammed from you in a half hour wants your chump change face it you fell for something stupid now you're in denial, I've already caught you in 1 lie sir.

 

Your post doesn't prove anything but i've seen too many complaints against EpicBot, just don't use, it's an .exe...

It's has nothing to do with epicbot, it has to do with the people who use it, and that's the same way for all the other bots out there.

 

You probably downloaded from a bugged website. Also, some scripts have been known to unequpit items (however, I'm not sure about dropping). But your accusation is serious. Run a few virus scans before you accuse a well-trusted bot. Furthermore, 20mil is PENNIES, and I doubt EpicBot would risk their community over your miniscule fortune.

 

Don't trust epic bot it put a virus in my computer, and idk what else. My computer shuts down whenever I turn it on and it makes a really annoying beeping sound..

I deleted it and my computer was fine. And i got an email saying that someone from china was on my account.

So you downloaded an infected version obviously... or a virus that came from something entirely different. If you had been infected by epicbot, just deleting the epicbot.exe wouldn't have removed the virus anyway.

1. as far as I'm aware none of epic bots employes are even from china lol

2. as someone else stated just deleting epic bot would not get rid of any keylogger\viruse etc.

There is no way to absolutely proof it was them. Thats what they do. They target a few people and the majority will say they don't hack

 

Like everybody else has said, that's nowhere near enough proof. Anyway, I'd recommend you use RSBuddy. It's the most.. Professional free bot I've found, for lack of a better word.

I've never seen any good comments on Epicbot not 1.

 

^This. RSbuddy is great because you can customize your own client with loads of free bots from various developers some of them up to par with paid bots! Not to mention if you buy a bot like iDungeon pro it is stored on your account so anywhere you log on it's available, no serial bs and key banning / confusion.

 

Happend to me a long time ago, got santa on and went auto-fighting, next morning I logged in was standing @ the bank without my santa + all value stuff of bank where gone also. Now I use RSBuddy.

 

Also got my stuff stolen a long long time ago. Only around 5m but i'm 100% sure it was epicbot. I think I put my details into the client
