    Am I in the wrong?

Basicly we went around my friends house with me two other guys and two other girls and my friend made a mangina and put a facinator in his hair and I took a photo and put it on facebook. He then picked up a stick and hit me across the arm and possibly have broken a bone in my hand and if not it hurts. So I picked up a tv remote and had a go at him and said I was going to hit him with it he then started calling me fat ugly ect. It ended up me throwing the remote at him and he then piced up a bamboo cane and tried hitting me with it. So I jumped on him and we ended up fighting and me ripping his shirt off and headbutting his nose and almost breaking it but he had his hand in my throat and was trying to grab me.

I then stormed out and the girls mum threw me out and my friend said he wouldent give me a lift home as he is friends with us both and it looked like he was taking sides which is fair enough. So I ring my ex who was there to get a taxi and she started saying how I was disrespectful to fight in her house and How I was in the wrong. He now wants £50 for a new t-shirt which he is not getting as Its his fault it got ripped and he started it.

But now I am having dobts as I now think I am in the wrong. Would like to hear some views on this. Before this he was taking the piss out of me and making jokes and I just lost my temper.

Joke gone horribly wrong. You did kind of dig your own grave on this one. Simply tell him your sorry, and pay the money. It was kind of a dick move on your part.

Ouch sorry to hear about that.
That's quite a difficult situation. I believe you guys are both wrong.
You started it and he overreacted (or perhaps he's just a douchebag or he just doesn't like you). You shouldn't have reacted to his insults.
But in the end the guy who hit you was the clear douche in the room.

He hit you because you were being an ass hole. 100% understandable. You fucking over reacted just as much as he did.

you say you wont let him get away with hitting you ( yet you think it's perfectly fine what you did ) headbutting someone in the face = YOU'RE A DOUCHE BAG. Hitting someone is only a huge deal if someone over reacts.

In this case, he hit you and you flipped your shit.

Well, It seems like you already have made up your mind about it.
However, If you're open to suggestions
First order of business, Call the 2 girls immediately, better yet, GO TO THEIR HOUSE DIRECTLY and apologize to them and parents IMMEDIATELY. Explain what happened, but not in the way you put it. They will see through your bullshit immediately. Put it in the a neutral voice. Explain what happened fairly, no slant like you did, and then explain what you did. If you even show a single hint of anger towards that person, if you put a TINY BIT of slant, consider them forever gone, because they'll see you as a bullshiter.
Evaluate your friendship, if he is that violent, do you want to be friends with them?
If no, fuck him, ignore him for life unless he apologizes and promises to never do again
If yes, wait few days, call him to talk.
That's my 3rd party opinion, take it, don't take it, doesn't affect me either way

Call me what you please, but the "I'm going to get him back" mindset is for kids in grade school. You may think I'm a "nerd", but the people in the world with your mindset are the types that I hate the most.

Both of them ever reacted and it's obvious that the OP made a bigger deal of it then his friend did, shown by the reaction of everyone else around him. Why would his Ex's mother alienate him if he was in the right to hit back? His friend merely hit him because he was being a dick, and he, then started an all out brawl.

This forum is probably the worst place to flame someone as the topics are most serious.

In my opinion you are both extremely immature fools who obviously can't be trusted to go anywhere without supervision. You're both in the wrong, something that small and insignificant shouldn't finish up with violence. It's completely disproportionate to the original problem.

If he hit you first he is in the wrong, if you threw the first hit then you are. Practical jokes can get the better of us and so can name calling - but violence is Never the answer.

Your not in the wrong but it sounds like your friends like him better. I'd move on and make some new friends, people who actually like me. That's just my opinion though.

I wouldn't have fought him just would've left, but still no one deserves to be hit especially since all you were doing was just fooling around. He flipped out and that's sad but still don't worry about it, just pick yourself up and dust yourself off and move on.

If he still complains about the shirt go and buy a wrist wrap and wear it around your friends and totally milk it out and say he hurt you really bad and that the medical bill costed a lot more than 50 dollars so you and him are even.

    +1

You guys were acting like grade school children. I would go apologize to him and give him some of the money, since it's not ALL your fault. (unless your friendship is not worth it, then fuck it)

Whoever hit who first is the person who is in the wrong imo.
