    Payal, No Legal Action?

So I read a couple of stories, which are telling me that no legal action will be taken against even if you don't pay your negative balance.

    Is this true?

Because I feel like a faggot for paying off the negative balance from a chargeback scam.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the case with every negative balance.
    Otherwise...
A trade would take place say on ebay.
The buyer would give the seller the money via PP, the seller would then immediatly transfer the funds over to another PP account, and leave the other account.
Then the buyer would file a dispute, and obviously, should no evidence be shown against the dispute - win.
The sellers account would then have a negative balance, while he/she kept the money on their other account, and PayPal would be out of pocket for the amount of money traded.

That's worded really badly, but hey. IDC ;)

If you put valid information, PayPal can send your information to debt collection agencies, and you will be hounded constantly.

If you didn't then PayPal isn't really going to bother. The filing fees of a lawsuit and a lawyer would far out way any negative balance someone on Sythe would pragmatically accrue.

Which means that the process they would have to go through to take legal action against me would take a lot much more money than my -80$ balance?

What I meant was, they wouldn't bother going through such a strenuous process, as it would leave them far out of pocket, and their time would be best spent elsewhere.

I've had to pay off over $500 worth of chargebacks from kids on sythe scamming.. But no, paypal won't do anything, if your number is listed they mite call you but if it's under 1 grand I doubt they'd bother taking you to small claims court, I know for a fact that they won't over 3 grand, but I'm not sure when they really take legal matters into their hands. I'd assume if you had -10grand they'd try doing something..

Regarding the 3 grand, my friend has a paypal CC he spent 3 grand on and his account is negative and unusable, however they haven't bothered doing anything and it only hurt his credit score.

I never paid mines, the only thing they do is that if you try to make a new PayPal account under the same IP they quickly disable it asking for a ID, etc even if you're verified your account already.

Legal action is taken and you will be sent to collections and get a terrible credit score and get round 3 phone calls a day from the collections agency trying to get you to pay your debts. Also what you owed will increase over time. I remember I got screwed in a ebay deal and had to pay 200 bucks I said I wasn't going to pay it a year later that 200 bucks was like 533 dollars. I also got bad credit cant buy a car, Because of a fucking ebay trade that wsnt my fault. Its really lame I know but I would suggest paying what you owe. Or it will just bite you in the ass.
