Thoughts on this YouTube layout?

Try some more vibrant colours
Like black is cool but I am not a fan of it being accompanied by another dull-ish colour in your whites and greys
Maybe try some neon green?

More color, my suggestion is to put a hexagonal/beehive pattern in the background and backlight some of them with a neon/LED type color

Liking the subtle glow and the simple type layout. But the font is hard to read, and that can be a bad thing for a youtube page.

 

Pretty nice, for improvements maybe change around and experiment with some different/new colours.
