Hacked while botting?

i was hacked while botting. was running AgilityChampion, was away for 2 hours. came back and was in lumbridge. saw that i sent a trade request and accpted it. then it said "I hate nig*ers". went to bank saw that 7m+whip+zerker ring was gone. how does this happen and how do i get rid of it? i was never logged out.

 

Thats strange, if you were never logged out then it must have been done from your computer.

 

There's no way this could have happened, you either making it up or the bot failed and then you got hacked, that's the only way it could have happened.

I would scan your pc for viruses.

 

Very easy for the writer of the script to add some code to check if a trade request was sent from a certain player. This can then signal the bot to get expensive gear/items from bank and trade it to him.

Not saying that is what happened just a maybe a very big maybe.

If the bot was from powerbot, they probably hacked you. Otherwise someone knew your password or had access to your computer.

 

You were most likely RAT'ed. Go scan your computer for viruses :3

 

I was using rsbuddy. I'm not saying the bot did it but I've never heard of this. I am running a system restore ATM. I don't think the bot is scripted to say, " I hate negros".

IF he had a RAT, it could have been done without him ever logging out because someone can control his computer.

I kind of doubt he would have gotten a RAT from any of the respected bots, though (IDK WTF AgilityChampion is).

Wipe your comp and reinstall. That is the advice I give to everyone that possibly has something malicious on their computer. Only way to be sure you aren't infected.

 

He said he wasn't logged out so thats not possible. Stop spamming, I know you saw the word Hacked and assumed you could post a generic answer to raise your post count.

 

is a system restore enough to get rid of the RAT, my dads computer so not sure if i should just wipe everything on it.

 

rsbuddy is completely safe, ive used it and rsbot, for years... Check your pc.

 

you could do this, but why not do a restore to like 20 days ago ? Seems more reasonable.

system restore is probably the most worthless thing microsoft has ever came up with maybe 1\1000 times will it work for whatever. and regardless if he has a rat he probably already got into his system settings which means SR is worthless. If I was you I would say someone got your password scare your dad into wanting to restore if he doesn't want to because no one wants to lose their CC, business info etc.

 

Why didn't you make any screen shots of it?
Would of been one of the first things I would of done.
