buying a computer for botting HELP ME CHOOSE

Don't get anything less than a i7. 6-12 GB of RAM.

 

Amd phenon II X4 955 black edition
Gigabyte ga-ma78lmt-s2
8gb corsair xms3
case/power supply I paid about $60 (430 watts)

I paid around $330 for the above. I have a serverator cooling system so that is why I added in an extra $70 to the price for a liquid cooler.

With the above specs I can run around 26 no problem. Some one with out an awesome cooling system like mine might have to run around 20 to keep temperatures down.

Edit: Everything I tell you is based off of running Rsbuddy. When I ran Rsbot for a week it seemed like I could easily run 10 more. I don't use Rsbot/powerbot because it can't complete a random for sh**.

 

If you plan of botting longterm, buy one of the great i7 12+ gb RAM computer builds with some form of Linux. If you won't bot a very long time go to PhotonVPS.com and buy a few 1 month subscriptions to WARP 4 Xen servers. It can run like 8 bots each server and use TENOFF promo code so it costs $74.66/server/month. I would honestly go with the computer though..
