Irrelevant Advertisements, Terms of Service, and Donor Discord Roles

Hey everyone, I'm here to announce a few updates we have made to the forum rules, as well as some new donor rank colors we've added to the Sythe Discord.

Bogus/Irrelevant Advertising

We have had issues where users create threads in multiple market sections with the primary purpose of advertising a different/irrelevant product, cluttering up sections and frustrating potential customers. Going forward we will be disallowing irrelevant advertisements in the body of market threads, this includes anything that does not fall in the same subforum that your thread occupies. Punishments will be issued under the existing false advertising rule.

Example: You may no longer advertise your Runescape gold sales on a Runescape skilling services thread. However, advertising that you also offer Runescape questing services in your Runescape skilling services thread will still be allowed, as these sections are from the same subforum.

It is worth noting that any market thread in a given section, must primarily pertain to a market offering that is relevant to said section.

Example: Your Runescape skilling services thread must be primarily about your skilling services offering, any mention of questing or other services must be secondary.

Given the changes to GFX that this rule change necessitates there will be a 30 day grace period for existing threads to be updated to compliance with the new rule.

Terms of Service Clarification

It has long been precedent on Sythe that deposits are meant to cover damages, as opposed to being a profit stream for an employer. However we understand that not having this precedent listed as a rule causes confusion and frustration when it comes to disputes involving service providers, in light of this staff have agreed to add this provision to the Terms of Service guide thread(s) across the forum, which should provide more clarity to those looking to hire and form contracts with employees.

Added rule: Deposits are meant to cover damages, and may not be withheld without sufficient proof that damage(s) have occurred.

New Discord Donor Rank Tiers and Colors

We have implemented two new donor roles for the Discord server, one for $2000+ donors, and another for the top 5 donors to the site. The new donor rank distribution looks like this:
