    Making image transparent with GIMP problem..
    I am trying to make the image I currently have as my avatar transparent but it always comes out with the white background. This is what I do; I open image with GIMP, I click layer > transparency > Alpha Channel, the I use the 'Fuzzy Select Tool' and click the white background then, I click Edit > Clear so I have the Checkered background then, I save as 'Domo1.png' and I go to my User CP > Edit Avatar, I click browse and open the image I made transparent and then saved, but it always shows the white background. HELP!​

    think you can request a mod to do it for you? You may have to be a donator though. ;/
