Grey hair early?

Helllloooo!

im 23........... and found a grey o white hair on the front side of my head.

Both my parent's still have quite darkish hair with grey's obviously which i was'nt expecting to find my first till my 30's

I have felt a bit weird and down about it but in my head and why im asking people here

i keep thinking im gonna be full blown white haired by time im 30??

is this the case anyone here found grey hair in there early 20's and are now in there later 20's early 30's??

I have dark brown/black hair so it stand's out more for me i know i can alway's die my hair but im just curious how fast the process will be and how i should stop thinking about it.

 

it's probably just a misfault of pigment, it isnt usual and your probably arent losing any of your hair pigment, just a tiny default your body made. I'm 90% sure your not losing your hair pigment, and if you are, you can't do anything about it, but I highly doubt it. Worst case: You dye your hair.

 

I'm 20y old and i got a few grey hears... not really worried though

 

Dont worry about it I know guys my age 19 who have found the odd white hair but its nothing to worry about.Just a mistake in the body.

 

Genetics. Some people get grey hair early, others later. But just because you got one, doesn't mean your whole head is going to turn grey. Wait it out and see what happens, but it's nothing to get upset over! Consider dying your hair.

 

I went to highschool with a guy who's full head of hair was gray before he graduated.

I wouldn't worry, you only found 1 hair. Even if more hair starts going gray, why worry about it? Some guys look hot with some salt and pepper hair going on

If you are really that self-conscious, as someone else said you can dye your hair.

EDIT: Could be from stress as well.

 

Half of my one buddies hair is grey...he graduated 2 years ago lol

 

It's probably just a random grey hair. I used to get them all the time before my hair started falling out (no the two instances are not related, dw). If you started getting more and more then you need to probably worry but if it's just one random hair or two then it's not a big deal. Even worst case scenario, you just dye your hair every few months with a shade that matches your natural color.

 

I got my first grey hair earlier this year when under extreme stress of college decisions (I'm 18). If you've been stressed out like I was i think that may be a cause? I'm not an expert but I think that was my cause.

 

I'm no expert, but I think stress can accelerate the rate at which your hair turns grey. Obama seems to have gotten a lot more grey hair since he's been in office.

 

As many people have said, you have nothing to worry about. I see guys all the time with dark hair with a few gray hairs at my high school. Even my brother, who's in his 20s, has some gray hairs, but my whole family seems to have retained most of their natural hair color into their 50s-60s.

 

can the hair pigment's that are not produceing color start to produce color agian in the future???

Some guys look better with grey hair, like George Clooney, etc.

But I honestly wouldn't get worked up over one grey hair, I've found about 2 in my hair and I'm 18. Worst case scenario is hair dye, and even that's not so bad, i'd be more concerned with early hair loss

 

Probably due to the stress of supporting Burnley

I remember my brother freaking out about this when he was in his early 20's, no grey hairs on his head to date.

 

Oh, one of my cousins got same problem - He's 19 and 80% of his hair is grey...Looks pretty good though and fits him

 

Honestly, I know someone who's 15 and has a heap of grey hair, including grey facial hair lol, and I used to have the occasional grey hair when I was like 7 or 8, don't worry about it.

It's probably just a random grey hair, I wouldn't worry.

 

My friend who is 15 has like 20% grey hair on his head.. There's nothing wrong with it, even if you didn't like it you could always get some Just4Men and dye it back

 

It all depends on genetics. Some people get them early while others later. One of my friend, he's only 16 and his head is 1/3 white.

 

It's perfectly find to start having grey hairs at a young age. I knew this guy who was only 16-years-old at the time, who had full head of grey hair.
