You shouldn't have a problem with setting it up. Here's a good guide written by kero about setting them up. http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=977316 As for which plan, it really depends on what you want to bot/how many bots you want to run.
Looking to run at least 3x iDung. Filling the rest with gatestoners, what would you suggest ? Goin to Austria for 3 weeks and it's a waste to let them licenses do nothing. May continue afterwards if I am satisfied with their services.
Warp 3 or Warp 4 would probably be your best choices. brotip: Use the code "tenoff" for a discount on the vps (incase you didn't already know)

The VPS Seerhost is easy to set up. I'm using that one atm. Been running two dung bots as well as some fishers and gatestones for 2 weeks now on and off but mostly 24/7. I've never used a VPS before this one and I was up and running within 15 mins after buying it. Everything's installed already such as RSBuddy and the Nexus client, all you have to do is update to the up to date one
Seerhost is made for botting so you'll get support there. If you want to run 3 bots you'll probably looking at the $30/month package.
I paid $28.00 for the month but you can get a $14.00 one and run like 2/4, maybe 5. Next month I'll degrade to the $14.00 one as it's more than enough
Yeah man, you've just got it try it really. RSBuddy scripts don't take as much up as Nexus so it all depends what you're going to be running dude
Be wary running RSBuddy on the bronze plan - RSBuddy likes to have more than 1GB RAM available so it tends to be much less stable on the Bronze.
PhotonVPS sucked dick for botting in my experience. I used to use Rsbot(s)vps, but I think they closed down. They were reliable and affordable ;/
I had the same issues with photon vps. I never got mine working (something on their end) and they would not refund me.
