First of all, I want to say that I wish I didn't have to make this report. It's not good for business and time-consuming. In my view, however, it's necessary. Prince apologized, which is a good thing, but he hasn’t done enough to convincingly show that this was a genuine mistake. That's why I feel like I need to create this report. Hopefully Sythe staff will disagree with my assessment.

Amount scammed: Attempted to scam $28.15
    Discord ID + Unique Discord ID: malik_prince1333 + 1284849211371950215
Explanation of the trade: Sold Malik_prince 1550m for .163 through Titanite's GE server
    How they scammed:

Yesterday, I attempted to sell 1550m to Prince at a rate of 0.163. I delivered the gold. The amount owed was $252.65.

After leaving my USDT address, I stepped away from my PC for a bit. When I came back, I noticed that Prince had indeed sent a payment — but not the correct amount. He had sent $224.50, meaning he was $28.15 short. I immediately messaged him, pointing this out. After some thinking and checking on his end, he acknowledged that he had underpaid and sent the remaining amount.

Naturally, you might think: “Okay, these kinds of mistakes happen. He fixed it, so what’s the issue?”

The issue is this: a market maker like Prince can occasionally make these “mistakes.” If caught, he can say “oops, my bad.” If not, he pockets a small, risk-free profit. That’s why it’s important to distinguish between a genuine mistake and intentional behavior. I truly hope I’m wrong and that this was an honest mistake, but unfortunately, the facts seem to suggest otherwise.

Here are a few points that raise doubts about his intentions:
    1. Prince closed the ticket unusually quickly after sending the payment. What’s even stranger is that he left a review before I had the chance to leave one myself. Also notice how swiftly the ticket was closed. 43889-EE6-E269-45-BD-A9-CE-B29-E0-C08-D2-C7 hosted at ImgBB (see the timestamps)
Note: on this server, the usual practice is to wait for the other party’s review before closing the ticket. That’s how it has always gone between Prince and me. His explanation was that he closed it fast because “people usually don’t leave reviews (https://ibb.co/Cp0YPjj8)”; a strange claim from someone who has over 1,000+ reviews on the server.

    2. His claim that it was a mistake doesn’t make much sense. He sent $224.50 instead of $252.65, which isn’t even close. It’s not like he mixed up two digits or made a small typo. It’s a completely different number.

    3. When confronted, he claimed it’s “standard practice” for him to keep a “tab” and that, had I not reached out, he would have noticed the error and sent the difference proactively.
He also said that this had happened before and that in those cases he had proactively covered the missing amounts himself. However, when I asked him to provide concrete examples or references from users who could confirm this, he was unable to name a single one.

I think it’s important that users can trust that the amount owed will be sent in full, without having to double-check or argue about it afterward. Up until yesterday, I had no issues with Prince, and his rates are competitive. I just sincerely hope that these kinds of practices aren’t the reason his rates are so competitive.

Again, I hope I’m wrong. Still, I’ve repeatedly asked him to show what exactly went wrong — to provide any explanation or evidence supporting that this was truly a mistake. He hasn’t provided anything.
Had he done that, I wouldn’t have opened this report.

After reviewing the chat logs, it does not appear that a specific amount of gold was agreed upon prior to the gold being delivered. The chatlogs provided show that @President referenced “around 1.5b.”

This likely explains why 1500m was entered into the automated ticket response, which would have totaled $244.50. The amount actually sent was $224.50, which was one digit off.

@Prince ENTERPRISES you should have updated the amount when you confirmed that you had in fact received 1550m, but since the remaining payment was made without issue I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt as this appears to be an honest mistake.

That said, @Prince ENTERPRISES, please note that if this becomes a recurring issue, further action may be taken. I strongly advise you to double-check your tickets and payments to avoid this issue moving forward.
