Determinate-Keeping the RS section clean like a boss; a good replacement for Farcast.

 

Personally, I feel that there are way to many spam reports left for the 3 top dogs. RsProd, Determinate and Wulf.

They are the main mod's who are consistently filling out spam reports. I think Louis and Pokemonrs could help and lower the work load for those 3 mods.

 

The problem with that is that the three of us are each responsible for a different section: Market, Runescape, and Off-Topic, respectively.

I can say for myself that spam reports for the Runescape section are really quite easy to manage. I only get to do 20-30 a day, and that's really not that much.
I can't speak for Off-Topic, but I assume that it's not so bad either.
So I'd say that there aren't "way to many spam reports" left for the two of us.

The main problem, as I understand it, lies with the Market reports. There are many pages of spam reports for the Market, yet Wulf and I cannot help RsProd with them. That is up to the other Market mods.

 

I do every Off-Topic report there is (there's not too many), I'm sure that's the same thing for Determinate with the RS section. The fact is that 90% of the reports come from the market section. So, market moderators and/or globals will have to do those.

 

So, what you both are politely/indirectly saying is that it's time for CSkiff and Poke to cool the heat in the market RaSp section.

PS: Determinate... only 20-30... mine are like 10/day now, and I'm sure other active users give you more...

 

Superman, he's right. Some of the globals do spam reports to kill time, and Determinate isn't the only RS Moderator. When I was mod in the RS section, I'd check about 3-4 times a day and each time would have anywhere from 5 to 15 reports only.

 

Would just like to take the time to point out how awesome of a job RsProd is doing; has helped me with a couple of things; answered a few questions I've had and is a constant help and a great asset to this community; keep up the awesome work man.

Appreciate all the feedback surrounding me guys, I really do.

As for the the back-up of spam reports around the market, I'd just like to take this opportunity to let people know that there are 40 pages (20 per page) of spam reports backed up, and more and more keep coming in everyday.
I'm doing my absolute best, and I'm managing to do all the spam reports for each day + a few, so we're slowly, slowly, clearing them out.

Be patient and we'll get there, so I apologize for any delays. If you need a title change urgent etc, feel free to PM me.

Where are the other market mods to help you Rsprod? You are obviously doing the best you could possibly could

Good questions, where the other markets are, I'm not 100% sure. But it's not fair to dwell on that, as the job still needs to be done. I'll try and knock off a fair load today in the hope of getting that section cut down a bit, so it's not so daunting for others to venture in there. Also, it's not just the markets who can do them.. I've noticed JT, and Karl dropping in there to do a few, which is much appreciated.

And finally, there's about 39 .

Thats right, Generally when Im trying to do spam reports i go to the back pages and do the ones that are older, since they're normally reports only globals can do anyway, Sectionals will deal with more urgent and up to date ones.

 

I won't be helping in spam reports until scam reports are back under control.....I have had a busier social life lately and things are starting to slip away....

Wulf, Firez, Plznate, Firez, SMR - All doing fabulous jobs from my quick glance. The rest of the staff are doing superbly, too.

 

Do a sectional staff overhaul. Only a couple sectionals are doing their job. 40 pages of spam reports are just too much.

 

A couple is just about the perfect word for it.
But..maybe a few would be better, as few = 3.

Rsprod + Det + Wulf do my reports, and that is all who do my reports.

 

Same with me, but Karl used to do them. It seems like Pokemoners is back though, so...

What does CSKiffing even do though lol?

 

It would be great if you guys could PM me a list of staff you feel are inactive.

 

I'm still away for class right now, and the internet here makes it difficult to browse. Doing spam/scam reports right now just isn't feasible. I'll be back this weekend though and I'll jump in and help out with the mess.

 

I'll do some scammer reports tomorrow. I'll also knock out a lot of market reports tomorrow as well.
