Few questions on making a pure..

Hey guys thanks for stopping by, i'm really quite bored of grinding skills on my main and fancy making a pure just to pk with and have a bit of fun.

My problem is that i haven't made a pure in a while and have a few questions

1. How does the lack of tutorial island effect account creation? i've noticed you have to do a quest which rewards defence exp, is this avoidable?

2. What pures are still worth making? i fancy something simple like a range pure with a gmaul. something cheap but fun. I can't afford to make a turm zerker etc, as most of my gp's will still be going to my main.

3. What are typical mistakes that i can avoid?

If this will be P2p account , Some of my friends use Soul wars to get zeals.
So you can have 99str/or anything else with 10hp. Obviously, Its unadvisable to pk with only 10 hp, so Lvl it to a around 50.

Then You can have an account like : 1 att, 99 Str 1 def 50hp. 70 Range and 70 mag. You will only be like lvl 45 or something. I have not done this, but my friends have. Apparently, you can do some serious owning like this.

 

1. Yes, you dont need to do this tutorial.

and as for the low hp, i don't know if i like that idea, by the same logic somebody else could have 99 range and just 1 hit me with dragon bolts or a d bow :/ thanks for the tip though, it'll definitely go into consideration if that's whats successful at the mo

 

I saw a vid of this guy with 10 HP rushing with Magic-> Gmaul with 10 HP and he owned all his levels, of course his HP sky-rocket'ed with the PKing.

 

hmm i can't see that being fun tbh, wheres the skill in running and speccing? :') and i imagine the novelty would wear off prettyyy fast.

 

Do Not Train Atk Until You Have Finished All The Quests, Same With Prayer.

If your looking for a gmauler - Rusher?

Range - maul?

Both?

For your gmauler to have effective results you will need to have a higher standing then most people out there - Addy gloves, some SWed strength,

Most people go - i dont need gloves because of combat bracelet, do NOT do this.

Also quest your attack, you'll get to 30 each with the quest "waterfall quest" <------ I think.

82+ mage rushing is effective and the techinque to hit FOUR times with a gmaul is sometimes vital.

Overall id say you need:

50 attack

82 strength + mage

CB BRACE if swed/gloves if a technical pure.

50+ hp.

60ish cb.

You'll have massive fun, and soon your loot will start building up, damnit, you can even make videos!

Go with the standard 1 def pure, easy to train, cheap and cheerful in wildy. Just make sure you check all quests before you do them for xp.

Not unless your a maxed turmoil pure. Most of the other pures get 200k drops maximum..

I would try and learn to pray switch an switch items while messing around on a 1 defense pure for a while. Just until you get used to switching, nothing worse then a pure who cant switch

you should go for a 1 def pure with high str and average attack (50-60)

 

a 1 defense pure would be best to start with. Then if you're 1 def if you want 45 later then you can get it.

Best pure to make an have fun with imo are hand cannon pures

 

k bow/dds is fun pure to pk on.
