Chriscross23 Ban Dispute

Hello everyone, recently I asked Tgump if he could ask Finn if I could make a dispute and him not instantly deny/veto it. Finn said he would allow it but would publicly state he was against it. For that Finn, I thank you. I truly appreciate that you will let me do this, regardless of the outcome. It means a lot to me.

Ok so let me start by linking you to my past disputes/pardons for this ban:

My ban reasons are as follows:
I was banned for malicious intents including DDoSing, and attempting to get a staff member banned, and "intent to selling a sythe account", and faking chat logs.

Regarding the malicious intent including DDoSing. I was on skype with the "skype crew" Tmoe, the kid who got banned regarding the faked tyro shit (I forget his name) and my friend jasdeep, oh and grave was there too. Me and jasdeep were playing MW2 while talking to tmoe and that other guy. The other guy was like "yo i want to test my shell/botnet (i don't remember which) on you. I already got your IP from skype. I replied with "go ahead and DDoS me. I'll open peerguardian, get your IP, and send that shit right back."

Definition of what peergaurdian is: "It is capable of blocking incoming and outgoing connections based on IP blacklists. The system is also capable of blocking custom ranges, depending upon user preferences."

What I said was worded horribly wrong, I agree. I was just hoping that he wouldn't ddos me if he thought it would fail etc. All peerguardian does is you can open it up and block incoming packets (DDoS's are usually UDP). So all I had planned was open peerguardian and block the incoming flood of UDP packets. Attempting to get a staff member banned.... I don't remember all the specifics to this but I this was me attempting to get farcast banned. Farcast has said many times that this is all just a misunderstanding and that I have never tried to get him banned. He has publicly defended me many times on this situation.

Intent to selling a sythe account: I never actually saw this post because it was removed. But a RL friend who has logged in at my house once posted on a topic (posted on this topic while at his house which I had mods look into/confirm because of different ISP's) asking about how much he could get for his sythe account.

Faking chat logs: I have never edited chat logs in my life. Grave and I have continued to be friends throughout the past year or so (even though he was the one to post this evidence). What I'm sure happened is I was using my old laptop at the time of all of this and it over heats a lot because I don't turn my computer off at night. My computer overheated and when it does that it deletes/doesn't save chat logs. I have tested this and it worked the same way. It showed that grave and I hadn't spoke in like a month.

He acted immaturely and trolled me, but he wasn't the one who framed me. I'm unfamiliar with the other three ban reasons so I can't comment on them.

 

While I am not familiar with all of the ban reasons, I do know a bit about the DDoSing, and I can say without a doubt that it was just a misunderstanding.

As for him framing Farcast, only Farcast can really comment on that one.

As for the chat logs, I can confirm that chat logs do not save if your computer is to shut down without properly closing the messenger windows.

And lastly, I cannot comment on him attempting to sell a Sythe account, as I did not see the proof, nor do I know where to look for it.

While it may seem far fetched that all of this is just a bunch of misunderstandings and coincidences, I do believe in second chances, and I wouldn't have a problem with this user returning in the last chance usergroup as long as this is just that; a bunch of misunderstandings and coincidences.

The framing a staff member can be thrown out as well.

I didn't edit the voice logs. It may have been a misunderstanding on my part and the staff's part because I didn't know Peerguardian was supposedly a DDoS protection, he just said he would "send it right back" which to me, was DDoSing the person. Also, the part about framing Farcast was real. Chris turned off his computer so MSN would crash and the chat logs ON HIS COMPUTER wouldn't save.
Would you like to hear my story from that day? I'm pretty sure I stated it somewhere in his report, but I wouldn't mind letting you know in detail.

Even if the DDoS bit can be lifted from his ban (if the staff can verify "PeerGuardian" is legal DDoS protection) he still edited chat logs or made his MSN crash so they would not save. Syed had invited me to his teamviewer that day to show me "something cool" and it turned out to be a photoshopped image of Farcast leaking or something. I told him not to do it, and then he had a conversation with Chris about it and Chris said he would have helped. Don't exactly quote me on the wording, but that's what happened. There should still be
a screenshot of the conversation, which Tyro deemed fake because I took it from teamviewer (pixels were a bit distorted) and then a chat log, which I received a screenshot from Syed because he agreed to helping me against Chris's case.
Chris has probably gone through a character reform of some sort, but I think it's immature that he's still to this date denying what he said. He's sold me like 2B gold for my stock and paid me back what he owed me last week. I still do not think he should be unbanned, unless he makes a pardon and confesses.

I'd make a point of expressing my opinion again on this issue which appears to pop up every month or so. I stand by my original judgement - supported by Grave's comments, which I personally deem as valuable - in stating that I do not think Chriscross is to be unbanned.

I remember this conversation with syed very quickly.

YOU AND SYED were both going to make a picture to show the leaks were farcast leaking and not sindre.

This is why you were so damn mad after I told Finn/Pen that Sindre leaked and provided pictures.

Please show how I PURPOSELY turned off my computer to make my logs go corrupt. I have not said I didn't say I wanted farcast banned. I'm saying it was said to defend myself and to get you to not get me banned.

tldr: grave was behind the whole frame farcast shit instead of sindre but after I told Finn/Pen the truth grave raged at me and everything got blamed on me/syed because grave never typed anything and no one recorded calls except him.

 

Alright for my opinion --> I find it very hard to believe that something here isn't true. This is a stack of ban reasons, in which trolling and sharing accounts with Hossboss (back then a perm ban i think- dont qoute me) wasn't even included.


The sheer amount of staff time spent on this has been ridiculous and yet each and every time it keeps getting denied, over and over and over

I would be extremely hesitant to do any rash action such as an unban
