Crim Charms/Blue Charms?

Will be going for 88 Summoning on my 136 in the near future.

Wondering where I should get charms.

I would prefer to not do Waterfiends, as I would have to bank too much without a Uni (whereas with Uni you can just camp...) making the charms per hour comparable to Greaters, and Greaters are less effort.

My 700k cash in the bank can't support bursting lobs obviously (unless someone wants to donate )

I've tried Greaters, that is about 30-40 Crims an hour I think. I might have to stick to that, but if I do it will take me ~150-200 hours to get the Crims just for 88 Summon.

Anyone have a better place I can go to?

you can easily do waterfiends with an excalibur and a bunyip.and if you have soulsplit then its too easy..

 

cockroach soldiers, i bot there for like 25 crims/hr + like 100k/hr profit

 

oh and im a zerk thats not maxed so youll get moar and last longer

 

just pm'ed you about wallasalkis, they have around a 15% blue charm drop rate and around same for crimson charms

 

I did Waterfiends on my 138 with Uni, Chaotic Maul, Overloads, etc....After how easy that was, I will kill myself doing it on my horrible-stats 136.

Thanks, dandow. Was hoping for a higher charm rate per hour than that, although yes you said I should get more at my level than your current rate.

Any other possibilities I've missed? I'm sure there are some other great charm dropping monsters. Just really would hate to spend 200 hours getting the charms for only level 88 Summoning.

 

People do waterfiends on level 100+.
Bunyip is fine with SS/excailbur, if you have SS you don't need a familiar/ excailbur, you'll get 70 crimsons p/h.

 

I'd suggest putting up with waterfiends for how much charms you'd get there. Try merching for better gear?

 

Personally.. I got 30 crims/blue's off frost dragons, along with 1.2m profit/h...

 

If you can't pay for Rock Lobbies, you probably won't get far into summoning, one of the more expensive skills to train...

 

I know how expensive it is, I already have 99 on one of my accounts LOL. I don't plan on being poor forever, I just want to get the charm part out of the way
