Read This If You Bought An Account From Turbulence

I am making this thread as a warning to anyone who has purchased an account from "Turbulence". After I got him banned, he recovered my account back once again, this time getting 20 defence.
He also recovered the other account he sold me. While he was on my account I pmed him and he told me that he is getting revenge on me and all his other customers since he can't suffer any consequences now that he's banned.

If you have bought an account from him please make sure that you have recoveries and an email registered, and take all the wealth off the account.

Shame yaroow has to take the blame for his shit after Turbulence recovered Fletching. You should post this in the RS General section though.

This is true but someone else is now going through and recovering every single account that Turbulence created.

The random is doing this by registering the fake email address and inputting it as the email address in the recovery process, which Jagex accepts even though it's not the email address registered to the account.

If you have bought a name from Turbulence then you need to register the login email address before this random does.

Once he registers the email address he can continue to recover the account.

I repeat. Turbulence may have recovered a few accounts but someone else is now going through and recovering every single account, by registering the fake email login on Hotmail and using that to recover the account.

Lesson of the day: If you create a fake email address for the login of an account, make sure it's actually fake and not a proper email host. OR make sure you register the email address.

This unknown person who I talked about above recovered that.

Turbulence only targeted accounts on the highscores.

I want refund because i never knew that he wasn't original owner, otherwise i would NEVER have it bought, also it had real email not fake email.

He said , because it's not his foult that i never asked about it, well i still want account back then, since he is unable to give me account back i demand refund lol.

 

I believe someone said like a few months back, Turbulence had a scheme of scamming everyone on Sythe, not sure who it was, but I looked at it at first, and thought it was some kind of a random joke, now we know it might be Turbulence's real life friend trying to spoil his scheme and save us.

WE should start treating these warnings more seriously, as I think before, the mods just banned the person who was trying to uncover Turbulence and his friends and Turbulence was left alone smiling evilly in a corner, and now people don't heed the single person's warning before because everyone was "attacking" or flaming him and trying to protect Turbulence.

 

I think it's a load of shit. How the fuck is some 'random' person going to all of a sudden start recovering. In the report, Turbulence claimed it was his brother doing it, now it's a random? Also in the report, the guy said Turbulence never responded to any of his PM's. If there was really someone recovering his accounts, then he would've at least tried to reassure the person he sold them to that something was up, or that he'd try and get the the account back for him.

 

But the fact is that, Turbulence didn't try to recover the accounts back for his customers. So something was fishy. Anyways, we've got to collaborate a list of names he sold before, and put them on the black list to make sure these names never get resold again. Unless they were obtained legitly (bought from Turbulence).

Now you're all making no sense. Please let me explain the story in order of events:

- Turbulence's brother recovered a few accounts that Turbulence had sold (this occured several months ago).
- Turbulence contacted these customers and returned the accounts to them.
- One of the customers affected was Reeser. Reeser was the only customer who complained of items being stolen.
- For whatever reason Turbulence never paid Reeser any compensation.
- A couple of months later Reeser decided to report Turbulence.
- Turbulence got banned and then decided to start recovering some accounts he had sold (evidence in the picture Reeser posted)
- Now a completely different person, who is currently unknown, has started to recover the accounts Turbulence sold by registering the email addresses that are used to login (as I explained earlier in this thread).

This is the true sequence of events. The mysterious person on the recovery spree could be a past customer, or someone else. It is not Turbulence or anyone Turbulence is friends with.

 

Who are you? And how do you know this?

Secondly, you can't recover an account by just registering the fake email and trying to recover with it. When the account is created with whatever email you put it Jagex sends a confirmation code, once. So if you register an email after the account has been created you cant do shit with it. The email has to be registered to your account first before you can use it to recover, just having a similar email to the one you use for login doesn't mean shit.

 

That's all 100% true, but I'm wondering how you know all this.

 

- Let's assume someone has the email login "[email protected]" on RuneScape.
- Assume that this email is available on hotmail.
- Assume that this person has the email address "[email protected]" registered to the account for recovery purposes.
- Now let's pretend that someone registers "[email protected]" on hotmail. If they go to recover the guys runescape account, they can enter this email at the start of the recovery process and Jagex will ACCEPT it even though the email registered is actually "[email protected]".

I have tested this with a new account and it indeed works.

Randoms will not know what email account was sold on, so its can't be randoms registering emails and recovering L...........

I've never seen you on the forums before and your only posts are concerning turbulence. And you keep avoiding any questions people have about who you are.

And yeah, it can't be randoms getting these accounts, it must be someone turbulence knows.
