[Question]Why do people blurr their stats out?

Bullshit, there's no logic in that actually.

 

Better to be safe than sorry.

Obviously if you have the standard 'noob' stats it's a lot harder to find your name, and I doubt Jagex would bother, but a near maxed account would be easier to find.

 

There's perfectly good logic in blanking out some of your stats, why would you take the chance of getting banned, for a few seconds of cropping out some pixels on paint?

Jagex don't bann if they don't have proof of that from their Official Forum/In-game. It's hard to prove the rest with IP, know it's actual owner etc...I believe the user ''Dave'' got banned for another reason but he want to use a drama story instead.

Look at his statement and read again. If someone says the otherwise then up with proof.

Sorry, but this makes no sense 'if someone says the otherwise then up with proof' . I could equally argue, where's your proof of talking to JMods, and the proof that nobody has been banned for showing all their stats. Your arguement is awfully flawed.

I've actually recorded few of the conversations with Camtasia and it's saved on my computer. The problem with your foolish argument is, when you get banned on RS they name the rule you've broke, with proof mostly...see the difference Mr?

How can Jagex be sure the email you used here is actually YOURS? The whole thing takes too much time to spawn on poor Sythe users, don't you think...? And no logic in the whole thing + Jagex have better things to do than this.

I have sold 64 accounts on sythe and I have never blured any stat out (only exp) and I did not get any ban or anything from Jagex. I think that its pointless then or people who do it probably already sold this acc on sythe and recorvered it back.

 

I guess they use all the information from stats to get a closer look on who owns the account. then in which a ban would probably come in place for RWT. my guess.

 

Well after reading everyones replies, I've come to a conclusion,
FaGeX, won't come looking here through sythe intentionally looking for accounts, considering people would post fake screenshots of other peoples account.
BUT- If someone does decide to report another player on here, knowing who he is. It is a POSSIBILITY, that you could be banned.

 

I'd be more worried about people reporting my name or something on Sythe then Jagex actually seeing the stats. Some people just like to troll and may just report you or something for RWT. Seen it happen before.
