I've seen staking vids where the guy switches attack styles when he is getting attacked and then back to when he is attacking? Does this really make a difference and give you a better chance of winning?

Let me explain. There are four different styles, as you are aware. They all give different bonuses which are invisible. Like:

    Accurate: +3 Attack levels
    Aggressive: +3 Strength levels
Controlled: +1 Attack level, +1 Strength level and +1 Defence level
    Defensive: +3 Defence level

This is also the reason that you will notice higher hits whenever you're fighting in Aggressive mode. Boxers try and use this to their advantage and go to Defensive mode whenever they're about to be hit, and to Accurate when it's their turn to hit.

Honestly, I think it's all in the head. You can be succesful with switching but you could also be good at just keeping it on one attack style.

I agree there is no mathematical equation that tells you whether you have a clear advantage over an opponent. Staking is ALL ABOUT LUCK

Of course there is if you are both maxed and even if you are not. You get extra defense when being hit and extra accuracy when attacking. Do it unless you are that lazy

It does, however, don't be fooled and succumb to the Monte Carlo Fallacy. The difference is extremely minute in the grand scheme of things.

There's only Punch, Kick and Block when boxing.

So basically Attack, Strength and Defence.

I find it doesn't really make much difference, but some people are skeptical into thinking so after doing it and winning.

Of course it doesn't make much difference, essentially you gain 3 attack and defense levels as opposed to one or the other if you don't switch styles.

Its like 99 99 96 vs 99 99 99. The outcome could go either way, but theres no denying that there is an advantage.

There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't be style switching unless you are lagging too badly. I mean otherwise you are just sitting there and watching which is boring, don't deny yourself an advantage.

the attack one is +3 to your attack
kick is +3 to your str
block is +3 to your def

so in the end, yes it does

I think anyone who has played RuneScape for 15 minutes knows that.

I use a different method for attack styles, but yes it does make a noticeable difference when you do it correctly.
