    Got tired of 1 def pking, got sick of 1 itemers so I turn to my main.

    Whats better for edge pking...Abyssal vine whip or AGS? and why

    Vine whip special is easily countered by simply walking a few spaces away.
    Ags + whip for sure.

    Ags is a dirty mutha foooooker but gets slow so i use a whip to ags. Even when i dont have spec just swinging the ags does dirty work :D

    Just use a reg whip and ags for spec. You're better of with a combo of both then with a vine whip and say, dds.

    Whip + AGS combo.

    If you dont want to risk alot each time, Dscim + AGS combo.

    Freeze opponent with ice barrage + vine whip spec + switch to chaotic rapier = ownagewin

    fyi, vine whip spec does over 2000damage at a good str lvl plus the poison damage you'll quickly combo kill them

    Bolas and AWV are savage together if used right.
    overall the abyssal whip vine is not that great but it does have it's awesomeness also :]

    On Topic: I would start out with AGS but definitely try both. They both have their advantages and can each change the outcome of the fight easy.

    In my opinion when I tried ags it wasn't that great, (and this a bit off-topic but owell) that dragon claws were better as they hit higher more often. Ags can hit higher but often did not with its spec. As for whip, the attachment does not affect the whip significantly enough to make it effective for a ko weapon
