what do you guys do to keep the boredom at bay?

my life can be summed up by the words netflix, and video games. i'm so incredibly bored i just want to slam my head against the wall. i have nothing to do, no job(working on that), no girlfriend(don't see that happening soon) just nothing at all to do and its driving me crazy all i do i just sit around at home all day and Dick around on the computer or xbox and its gotten really old. i have nothing to look forward to or be happy about. I was just wondering what do you guys do to keep your life fun or meaningfull? or if nothing else to keep the boredom away.

tl:dr i'm bored as fuck, any suggestions?

 

I was having a similar problem earlier on this year. I started to get into reading, music, and art. I am also trying to learn German, Russian, Swedish, French, and Arabic. I love learning and now I am having a lot of fun.

 

Go out and do things with friends.
Go out and exercise, or get some fresh air.
Go out and play sport.
Go to the library, hire a book out, and memorize the contents.
Go learn what your going to learn in school to get a head start.
Go find a game to play.
Go research what you want to do when your older.
Go learn about something that interests you.

 

Is there nothing that you've always wanted to do, but have never been able to? Try that.

 

Work out, trust me. You can get alot of working out done when your bored. Also you will end up with a nicer shaped body.

 

Sports worked for me. When I'm not with my girlfriend I'm usually playing basketball for 4+ hours a day. If you find a sport you like try doing that.

I suggest beating your head against the wall, that will either knock you unconscious, or give you a very bad headache... which means you can take some pills, and go to sleep

 

Ah good old Netflix. You can find me on Netflix about 24-7 watching Bones and Sons of Anarchy on it. The worst part about Netflix stream though is the fact that most of the movies on it are old unless you get the dvd bundle.

 

Same problem man, recently moved so I don't know anyone here, so basically all I do is game + watch tv shows & movies, and honestly that's boring after awhile.

Need some suggestions aswell.

Noodles after you start going to school after summer break I'm sure you'll make friends and won't be bored but in the meantime go to the movies,library,mall or wherever else teens hang out, I'm sure you will be bound to find someone to hang out with.

im the fat ginger in the class that everyone hates so right now really isn't the prime time for me to get a girl. i have thought about trying to learn Japanese to play all of those games that aren't in English.

and to all my fellow netflixers try watching heroes it had me tied up for a long time.

 

The answer is socialize.

 

Don't think yourself like that. Everyone is beautiful in there own way .... even the ginger So don't worry I'm sure you'll eventually find friends that accept you for who you are and not what you look like.

 

if your fat, and thats what you hate about yourself, then why dont you set a goal of getting thinner, and that will make you less bored, then in the long run you can start to socialise, get a girlfriend, ect ect.

 

I just browse and watch movies.

 

watch movies, play dota, get money, go to clubs
