    This sort of thing looks scary at first, but for example with idungeon, how would you get the information about every account that has ever been run on this bot? I'm not even sure it would be legally possible to force the bot owners to do that, as botting is nothing illegal.

    Obviously they are not going to do anything. JaGex is a company, companies want money. However if they make an announcement saying "We're not going to do anything about bots because we are money milkers", everyone who doesn't bot will complain.

    So they obviously have to convince people that they are trying to stop the botting community.

    Their only lead is the emails that you have attached to your account. You're probably going to be completely safe, even if this is legit, so long as your Paypal email from the Paypal account used to buy the auths does not match the email attached to the account you're botting on.

    I think it's absolute bullshit how they think they can just simply get a hold of our personal information. They can't detect bots and they know it. The only reason they keep saying this is because the legit players are giving up on playing and Jagex can't simply afford them leaving the game.
