[Suggestion] Ban All Radical Left Lunatics to Uphold Capitalist Values

Alright hear me out, Sythe is clearly a marketplace built on beautiful, glorious capitalism. Buy low, sell high, and profit.

Yet somehow, lurking among us are radical left lunatics who:

• Cry about “fairness”. It's all about the profit, not your feelings.
  
  
• Can't afford an autobumper? Go work at Mcdonalds you broke loser!
  
  
• Preach woke rainbow cult values. For 20 years Sythe has upheld the correct 2 biological options; male or female. Go woke go broke.
  

My proposal: Ban them all. Purge the snowflakes. No more whining about ethics, no more “community over profit” speeches. Sythe should stand proudly as the last true virtual goods free-market utopia on the internet. It is not censorship. It is merely eradicating the extremists.

After all, if someone really believes in socialism, shouldn’t they be forced to hand over their accounts and gold to the rest of us equally? Sythe rules forbid the former, so I interpret that as no commies allowed.

Let’s protect our sacred capitalist forum.

I remember way back when politics and race were rare topics on this site. Good times!

 

Don't let my join date fool you, I remember those times too. It was nice, people now days think trolling is just dropping a hard R or encouraging self harm. Quite a disturbing place lately. Mods defend the behavior too. I was drug by a mod on Discord into a voice call with 5 other mods in there, where they called me the hard R and then kicked me from the voice call. Later that day, a guy that just got off a 7 day Discord ban for dropping the hard R, dropped another racist term in general.. I reported it and got perm banned from the Discord.
No Warning, No nothing, I contributed everyday to the discord in good faith, not once was I doing anything that could be taken as rule breaking. Hell I was giving away nitros in the discord right before that. What do they do, perm ban me for reporting the post. It's so unfair.

They say I was perm banned for protection of the server, seeing as reports hurt the server. Well ok maybe tell me that and warn me and I wouldn't do it again?? I would report it to staff instead, no they had to take it to the extreme and perm ban. I just don't understand it
Also if they were worried about protecting the server why not perm ban the guy that is saying things that would infact hurt the server, what I did was no crime, what he did was. I simply reported the post, had I reported someone saying "I love Jesus" nothing would have been done because nothing bad was said. So instead of targeting people reporting people saying bad things, how about you target the people actually saying the bad things.

Please don’t let my join date mislead you, I have been part of this community long enough to remember when the environment was more positive. Unfortunately the culture has shifted. What many now consider “trolling” often involves extreme and harmful behavior such as the use of racial slurs or encouraging self harm. This has made the community feel increasingly hostile, and it’s troubling that moderation sometimes appears to defend or overlook such conduct.

Recently I experienced a situation where I was pulled into a Discord voice call by a moderator, where several moderators were present. During that call I was subjected to racial slurs before being removed. Later the same day I witnessed another user, who had just returned from a seven day Discord ban for using a racial slur, use another offensive term in general chat. I reported this message and in response I was permanently banned from the Discord.

What I find most difficult to understand is that my permanent ban came without warning or explanation beyond “protecting the server.” I had been an active positive contributor to the Discord, even giving away Nitro subscriptions shortly before this incident. I was not engaging in behavior that could reasonably be seen as disruptive or harmful, I simply reported a message I believed violated community standards.

If reporting messages poses a risk to the server I would have gladly stopped had I been warned or informed of the correct process. A clear explanation or even a temporary suspension would have been understandable. Instead the decision to permanently remove me feels disproportionate and unfair, especially when compared to the treatment of users who actively use racist or harmful language.

I ask that this decision be reconsidered. I believe a warning or temporary ban would have been far more appropriate, and I remain committed to contributing positively to the community if given the opportunity to return.
