Getting mage xp on my boxer?

Hey guys recently I started botting dungeoneering on what will be my staker/boxer in the future. I have noticed that while botting Dung the mage level has gone up to three. I never really planned on raising my mage level at all on this account, and what I wanted to ask was if it will affect my account as a boxer/staker? Also, what should I do from here with mage? Raise it all the way to 99 or what?

I dont think it should affect it too much, does it raise any combat levels? Once ur maxed 99,99,99 it wont matter what your magic level is if your maxed boxing against others

 

It doesnt matter at all. Even if you had lvl 50.

No, it won't hurt your ability to box/stake at all.

 

I think it's roughly the following:

You're combat based if 1.5 times your magic level is more than your attack and strength combined.
You're magic based if your 1.5 times your magic level is not more than your attack and strength combined.

 

If you plan on making it simply a (melee) boxer, there's no point in raising magic as to get ancient magicks I believe you need to have at least 11-13 prayer, thus ruining your boxer.

 

If your planning on Maxing melee, this will NOT effect your combat level.

I suggest getting 99, and doing DT, simply because Mage boxing is so much quicker.. LOL.

And I think it makes your staker look better having that extra 99.
