The kid asks people if they are Giddy even though the people never actually pretended to be Giddy.

Human's greed caused these users to pretend to be Giddy. I really think this type of ban isn't warranted. Although they did, in fact, impersonated Giddy, they were blantantly LURED into doing so.

Warriormike personally asked me if I was Giddy, but I said no. He proceeded to ignore me on sythe. He pretended to sell gold in order to trap people.

What do you guys think?

The little bitch. You shouldn't be able to trap them like that. So say if I was selling a phat set, and willing to go first if you were Hahanerd, wouldn't you guys impersonate him? It's impossible not to...

 

If he asks if you're Giddy, and you say yes, when you're not. You're impersonating Giddy, end of story.

When i'm trying to sell gold, have a guy actually impersonate him, and trying to figure out who he was, and have fucking 30 people add me and all saying 'meet me right now ill pay you .85' oh yes.

 

Well then why did you just ignore me after I said No I'm not Giddy, but willing to buy 200m. We didn't even discuss anything. You just ignored me.

 

I was in the middle of like 4 guys trying to buy the whole thing. I can literally show you my PM inbox with 40 people messaging me bud.

Still you did that dick move of luring people into inpersonating Giddy. You could of asked, "What is your sythe name"

I agree it was a bit too much. However I was just infuriated with the blatant attempts to strip me of what I worked hard for.

 

Seriously, it's a bit suspicious that you threw down all your current things that you had to do, and immediatly reported them. It makes it seem like you only posted that thread to lure people. Right after I said "I'm not Giddy" you stopped talking. You didn't even say no thanks to my offer.

 

I'm sorry mate, someone got on and said it was giddy and wanted to buy all via WU, so I was looking for that person.

Be careful what you say in a conversation.

 

Also, the fact that Giddy automatically "saw" the thread and bnaned them immediately kinda makes me suspect you of being Giddy. There's dozens of scam reports with no global response and he somehow noices yours less than 5 minutes after it was posted...

 

This isn't the right section to be arguing about this in.. Get a mod to sort it out.

 

Lol as soon as they said they were you responded be right back, how did you immediately know they weren't giddy without you asking for a PM or any proof. Also for the first guy i realize you could of just went and looked for Giddys msn after you said "Be right back" but if you did that why did you have to ask the next 2 if they were giddy, if you already went and checked from the first guy and knew they weren't?

He could have PMed Giddy and said, "Thought you should know these people are impersonating you" and linked the ban requests, if I was a mod and I saw people were impersonating me, I would want them banned fast, I don't think that shows any suspect of Giddy doing this....

And yeah, this is kind of like entrapment and I think it is pretty low to do, but the people who got caught would have stolen the money if given the opportunity so I have no qualms with them being banned.

If you go to a place with valet service, and they ask you if you own the red Ferrari and are ready to get it, and you say yes, it is still stealing. Just because the crime was easy doesn't mean it isn't wrong. This is kind of how the "To catch a predator" show traps people..

 

It's a sneaky way to get people banned but I guess it works.

He should get a TwC because of this.
