What do you base trust on?

Quality of vouches definately means alot more than the other factors. They way I see it anyone can make multiple accounts so join dates dont matter much. Anyone can donate, the highest donators are banned. Quantity of vouches mean little because anyone can mass them up with effort. Post count means less because spammers are so common. These factors come into play but do not play a heavy role to me, just a supportive role.

If the person has a wide array of vouches from reputable people both going first and otherwise then they show integrity. Also if they are for multiple services (accounts, gold, services, etc.) personal sythe background plays a small factor as well, if they were community involved but not a huge one because peoples lives tend to be busy.

    ill also add in donors.
for example somebody donates $100 to sythe, i would feel good trading under $100 because they spent more than that on a site they would risk getting banned for scamming. in all sense they most likely would only scam more than what they donated

What do you base trust on?

I would say if you know someone for like 4-5 years, I can safely say his trusted.

Also past trades from the same person or so, will make me trust him even more.

Vouches of course. But I take like what others think, having a quality vouches
is better than quantity. Having like 10-20 vouches from newcomers is never better than having 1-5 vouches from a Moderator / Staff or High Trusted member.

I don't take posts as trusted as you can just spam and gain post count.

Donator rank would be another thing that you can look out for, the more he donates, the more you can trust. That's from my opinion.

This might sounds "Judgemental" but i base my trust depending on whether the person has a Signature+Avatar, his/her title rank, donors, and vouches (Only if the vouches are of high quality).

What do you base trust on?

    Reputation.

Quite honestly, someone could have an extensive vouch list, yet have a poor reputation, and I still wouldn't trust them much. Though, I haven't really put my trust into anyone on Sythe yet.

Yea, I would never trade an asshole, no matter how many vouches they had.

What do you base trust on?

Politeness + Professionalism are what I base my trust on, as a secondary I also look at donor ranks, vouches, and a quick email background check.

What do you base trust on?

Years known? Big time deciding factor. Though it also depends on how well I know them.
Past experiences with the individual? Also a big time deciding factor.
"vouches"? Matter, if someone has 40 vouches that's pree legit.
Posts? Matter in the sense that someone has 4,000 posts, put a lot of work into that so throwing it all away with one trade seems silly imo
Donator rank? If it's something like, $5/$25, doesnt mean shit to me.

What do you base trust on?

Vouches (number of total vouches and number of vouches for trades similar to what we're trading), posts, join date, grammar/spelling, attitude and my gut. I'm sure others that I can't think of atm.

Like Snow Patrol said, "Politeness + Professionalism"

What do you base trust on?

I count posts and donations as nothing
    1. Posts can easily be jacked up by pointless comments in threads.
    2. I've been told by Pokemoners that some people donate just to seem trustworthy, then chargeback the donation once they're banned.

I don't really care about join date, but the others are quite similar to rest that post here.

What do you base trust on?

besides vouches, join date and rank, I also based it on instinct, like when billy talent scammed me i really had a feeling that he will scam, but I ignored it.

What do you base trust on?

Sythe.org doesn't accept paypal donations anymore, because of that.

And yea JC, that sucks. And I've also felt like they will scam me, the scams happened like a week after(PP Disputes)

What do you base trust on?

I would base my trust on the join date along with the quantity of vouches.
