RSbot is not legit. Proof.

OK guys, I got hacked. But thank the lord, all I lost was the armor I was wearing, which was only about 3m. But I did my research and look at what we have here! An svchost.exe in Roaming? I don't think that belongs there.


Obviously a virus trying to look like it's legit.

There you have it, folks. Rs-bot is bogus.
I am 100% sure that I did download this Rs-bot from the site. Hell, I checked back to my history and sure enough, the only sites I had been to in the past few months were Runescape, Gmail, Facebook, Youtube, Sythe, and Powerbot.org.

Don't use powerbot, and if you ever have, just look for this bogus svchost in C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming.

100% sure. No other websites than the one I listed and the only place where I get the downloads is from the official website.

 

A real life friend of mine was hacked by rsbot previously. I think I had posted a thread on sythe about this, not sure if it was sythe or an other forum. Sorry to hear you are hacked though. :/

 

Looks pretty truthful. More then likely this is a CyberGate RAT. judging my the file name and were it was saved. I can also tell you that based off the file size this was crypted at one point in time.

Yeah I don't think this is legit proof of RSBOT being corrupt, unless we are talking powerbot, nonetheless only use Rsbuddy.

 

You are probably referring to rsbots.net, which the OP is talking about rsbot. There is no "s". Rsbot (no s) refers to Powerbot. They changed their name due to legal issues I believe.

 

I think if you just looked at power it's history, you can see more than enough reasons not to trust their software...

Its an .exe file dude, the .jar is included in the file name.
