Sythe Advertising

I don't think Sythe has enough money to advertise. And it has plenty of members already.

 

Sythe doesn't really need for advertising as it is already popular. For example right now there are 909 users online (238 on RuneScape market), this is just my idea though it's on the hands of administrators if they want to advertise or not.

 

Putting ad would just get more scammers?
I think Sythe is pretty popular right now.
The only reason why PowerBot have more users because they have their own bot and we don't.

 

I wouldn't really want sythe wasting money on advertising. The money could be better spent in giving the admins or mods some money

 

Yes, but atleast some should be spent in this way, definately.

Sythe is not active compared with the old times.

 

99% of sythe memebrs r scammers..

 

That's why we need more active members.

 

We should try it for a month, poll the new members where they came from, wait 6 months, see how many donate, and look if Sythe has made a profit out of the ads.

If so, we can keep on advertising.

Sounds reasonable, maybe if they put up an ad in zybez or runehq a bunch of rich legit players will come here to sell their gold and accounts, and then maybe they'll donate some money.

 

We also should make some promo vids

 

Advertisements wouldn't do Sythe any harm, tho it might be bad for the huge pocket it currently has .
I'd support this, but it's very much up to the administrators wether they do this or not.. Sooo..

 

Yes, but why not to test it out atleast with a small budget?

 

In all honesty, I think we have enough active members on Sythe and requesting more would just be greedy, but, I'm down for it if anyone wants to implement this idea.

 

I think we should only allow trusted members from other sites..
umm plus I think we should delete accounts that havnt
logged in, in a long period of time. to clean up the users also.

 

We need more active members, more people who are trading often, that's what do we need.

There's not many places to advertise though to be honest.

We could advertise our market on RSBuddy, people there bot and would be interested in selling accounts and gold. If they came here that would be a reasonable boost in members.

 

Doubt they'd be willing to advertise sythe cheap, since their own market must be pretty much ready to launch soon imo.

 

There are many RuneScape websites who use Google Ads.
Talking about Facebook, many Facebook members are RuneScape players too.
