Has pure pking changed?

its been a couple of years before i pked on a 1 def pure and when i got my ags pure i went pking and everything seems different, like before hardly any pures would smite (im not complaining because i smite also to try and get claws or ags) but now days every pure smites and they always go for the spec at the beginning. i remember before using your spec at the beginning was the worst time because they knew it would come and you had to wait until they werent expecting it.
does anyone else feel like pking has changed?

 

noobs usually spec at start of fight, as soon as they can they spec again...if their 2nd spec fails, they run....sad tbh.

 

Yes, pure pking has changed a lot now. The mainstream is going towards all these Turmoil pures. Pretty much making any old pure have the same stats, with the exception of 95 Prayer.

Pures are getting def up, all they up to 75 and call themselves "Barrows Pures" lmfao. I think its because of Jagexs stupid overpowered weapons

 

Well it honestly hasn't changed much. Pures are usually really good now though. Almost all accounts are botted to 95+ Stats and they usually use auto switchers. I fuck the shit out of them though with my 20def pure 99rng 99str
MSB AGS combo is still #1 or claws

 

Barrow pures with 75 Defence, that's cool.

Alot of them get Turmoil, costs alot but worth it. I myself am making a main out of my Pure just for sake of PvMing.

 

Yeh, if the spec fails, they tele. Or they run away and safe to full hp, and then a 1 itemer breaks up your fight to be a fag.

 

It didn't change much besides new weapons. Pures still use vegneance or ice barrage, still dragon dagger, ags etc. New weapons are chaotic weapons,claws etc.

 

When you pk it's a spec contest, who can spec the highest first lol. It's alright though.

 

Yes, it's completely NH nowadays for me.

 

There's no more simple d scim/dds fighting with zammy robes and stuff like that.


I feel as if pures are now trying to get as many overpowered items as possible.

Gone are the days where you used to see a level 70 fighting with a d scim.

Now they'll be using a korasi with SS.

Even main PK'ing has become shit with how NH taking out free trade made the wild. It didn't get back any honour when free trade came back.

The only proper DM you will get is someone with <300k risk unless it is arranged before you even step into the wild.

I agree with this. If you can hybrid well, you rape.

Flip side of this links to what I said above, the wild is NH as hell. Unless you are against another hybrid, the person you are raping is just going to tele/run like a bitch.
