Owned by a "friend". Time to reminisce

Hey there. I've played RS on and off since 2001. I've had a good run. Got banned in 06' and lost all my wealth and since then I've just chilled on RS rather than being money hungry. Cmb 137 Anyway, recently my friend was at my house, and I went to have a shower. He put a keylogger onto my computer, and must have seen me entering my bank pin sometime coz he took off with my 120m. He's not answering my txts or phone calls so its obviously him, but oh well. Such is life right? Thinking it might be time to hang up my RS boots.

Anyway, anyone got any funny RS stories that they look back on now and laugh? I still remember pking a lurer way back in the day for blue phat when it was worth like 20m haha.. That was a MASSIVE PK at the time (unlike today).

 

I doubt it was him, unless he had a download link to hes sever, or a memory stick with him, but I recommend scanning your computer with this online scanner just incase, its safe google it if you don't believe me.

Nah it was. I only use 3 sites. RS, youtube, and fb. I don't click links. It is pretty much impossible for me to get a keylogger any other way. And besides, he confirmed it for me just now haha.

 

Don't download that, google maleware bytes and why would an irl friend do that :S are you like 12 or something, don't accuse your friend unless you have solid proof, you could end up ruining your friendship by accusing him and he's actually innocent.

I remember back in 2005, i was selling a hybrid. And i couldnt give the guy i was selling my recoverys since i had the same recs on my pure account. I told him about that. Somehow, not sure how i finally sold him the account and gave all info. 1 hour later my other pure was recovered, by my own mistake and I lost 30m+ which in 2005 was a lot. Oh well, happens. I was 13 then

 

I remember one day my own brother was doing a trust game, one of his friends he supposedly gave like 3m to and to I gave him around 2m because the trust game was for like 10m back in 2004 this was quite a bit. I thought I could trust him but nope.... ): He was around 16 I was 12

I shared a maxed account with my friend a few years ago, we both decided it was time to hang up our boots, cause no-lifing was getting to the point, where rather than going out on a friday night, we'd stay in and scape.

Anyway, I went on holiday that summer to Barcelona for 2 weeks, came back and my friend told me the account had been 'keylogged' and banned.
Checked the account, and sure enough it was banned. It was not until I went on the hotmail account that we'd shared and checked the emails to find a confirmation from PayPal of $950 that had been sent to his PP account.

Spent over 100 days played time on the account.

I haven't been able to contact him since, he even lives down my road and every time i'll call or knock on his door, nobody answers. As is life?

Lesson to learn: Humans are selfish.

I remember back in 2005 i was saving up for a santa hat and i woodcutted for like 4 weeks straight probably about 8 hours a day cutting yews and then magics once i leveled up to them. I finally had gotten the santa hat and i showed my friend at my house and then walked downstairs to get a drink of water i come back upstairs 5 minutes later and he had transfered the hat to his account because i was a idiot back then and didn't have a bankpin.

I said it was fine with me because i didn't wanna be a no life nerd and get mad a game but as i slept on it that night i figured i dont give a shit if its just a game this kid just stole from me no matter what it is and i worked hard for that so i went into school the next morning and at lunch time i walked up to him and just started punching the kid until a teacher broke it up. He gave me the santa hat back the next day when we were suspended but i still haven't talked to him in 3 years because I figure hes a scumbag that steals from friends.

 

If i was you, i would head to his house, and beat the shit out of him. Seriously, maybe you think eh it's just 120M, but that 120M is worth like $70 IRL.

 

There are good people out there. I leant my mate an item worth 40m whilst I was on holiday and when I came back he offered to return it straight away as he didn't need it any more. We're both not rich and we don't know each other IRL. I guess we just aren't assholes...

 

I'll get him back one day. I have my methods.
