Recent break up has me depressed.

Hey guys, my girlfriend of a month recently broke up with me and ive been having a really tough time getting over it. her reasons for the breakup is because she thinks we were both looking for 2 different things in a relationship, and apparently im always busy and we started to drift a little(she lives 30 minutes away) she broke up with me on facebook chat and i flipped a shit on her, i punched 4 or 5 holes in my wall and proceeded to try and sleep...i woke up in the middle of the night and cried for around an hour(first time crying in almost a year) i went back to bed and tried to not think about it, when i woke up i tried to get back with her and shit but she really doesnt want any of it. I flipped a shit on her again and she doesnt wanna talk to me anymore, which makes me pretty upset because last week she was telling me how much she loved me...im still a little upset but im getting over it a little bit at a time.

TLDR - how do i get over her?

Well, considering you guys were only dating for a month, I would presume you weren't "in-love" with her. I know how you feel -- and it's not fun. Basically, try to get your mind off it. If you enjoy doing things such as; working out, sports, playing video games, hanging out with friends, or partying, try doing some of those.

If you need someone to talk to, shoot me a PM.

I recently broke up with a girl that I dated for a month as well. It was hard, but I definitely wasn't "in love" with her, and it would be the same for you.

The best advice I can give is to go out with friends and hang out, party, do whatever it is that you like to do. In a few days of having fun, you'll completely forget about her. After my ex and I broke up, I spent a weekend with my best friends, and we went to a concert, went camping, just a bunch of fun stuff and it helped me get my mind off of her.

The key is to keep yourself busy. Pick up a hobby, hit the gym, go out with friends. Sitting at home and moping about it isn't going to solve anything, just keep you chin up and realize that life goes on and you'll find someone else later on in life

I know what your going through mate. The best thing you could do is to just not think about her and try to move on to other girls. I know that may seem hard but just thinking about the same girl is only going to make it worse. Just gotta remember what kind of stress you both are in. It probably wasn't easy and was for the best.
