What happens when two people both have the very first password and the IP on which the account was created?

But one person has more info (Very first recovery questions+answers) and also lives in the same place that the account was created at. He also has the very first tracking ID and CC # that was used to create the account + very first zip code.

But both people have IP and first PW which are the only things you need to recover the account.

Will the account be locked forever? Or will one person win?

 

i think only 1 person can have the orginal ip unless you live in the same house

 

We both know what the original IP is.

And you are right...just checked and this pc isn't the same IP as the one it was created on.

So if we both have original IP address and first password...but I have MORE info (first recovery, first transaction ID) who will win?

Or since we both have the original IP+First pw will the account just become locked?

 

Yeah, whichever is actually on the original computer which created the account will probably win the recovery.

 

Question about original IP.

I'm a college student. I used my HP laptop to create the account at home.

I am home now but I no longer use the HP laptop. I use an IBM.

If I log on and do the recovery on the HP laptop will it have the same IP? We haven't changed ISP at all.

Thing is the guy has had the account for a few months. So he has credit card info from that.

But all that is way after my info.

Have the same IP as it did when the account was created? If my ISP hasn't changed at all.

And I don't think I have a dynamic IP since it's cable...

 

I have seen cases of the other party being able to recover ye account off the original IP party, it ended up in a long long tug-o-war between recovering > locking > more recovering. I'll try get in contact with him to see what the finishing out come of the situation was.

I'm almost 100% sure after a certain amount of time playing on an account jagex recognizes it also. Giving you the ability to also recover the account off the original owner.. Not 100% sure tho.

 

What if I put my credit card on the account?

Im inclined to say it will be a never ending tug o war battle.. I honestly will try hunt that mate of mine down an ask him about his experiences with it.

Ask yourself this. Do you really want an account that you think is yours but in 6 months or maybe even a year, your friend can recover it.. Just start over man it's honestly your best bet.. Bot an account even.

 

It's a maxed pure. Also has a phat in bank but I don't know pin so I can't get to it for another few days.

I'm also not even sure if he has the original info.

I sold it to gold4rs around 6 months back. Maybe gold4rs gave him the info but he lost it?

So you recovered your account back from gold4Rs ? Yes they probably did supply them with all the needed information to recover it.

Dont bump more then once every 24/hr, other wise you will be infracted.

 

Whoever was the original owner and has the most info will get the account 90% of the time.

 

What I did is post on Forum Emergencies forum and say about my case. They removed all details other guy knew. Never been recovered since then.
