    people are only talking about the whip update, what about the range version called the vine ballask or something like that. is it any good? how much are they?

    Bolas, 76 range needed, freezes your opponent for 15 seconds, about 1.2k ea last time i checked, 100+ range attack bonus

    It really looks like a ballsack :\

    Anyways, Chris Archie made a video about it, and it looks quite alright. Kind of a Range Blitz thing.

    Bolas seems pretty stupid, its like a bind that deals no damage on some bosses, who would use it?

    The +0 ranged strength means we can expect it's not going to be as OP as some may have made it out to be. Seems like a solid update.

    Will be nice for hybriding at times... It would be a lot easier to barrage and start ranging someone, then as they swap to d'hide and mage pray, instead of swapping to ahrims to barrage and re-freeze, simply change weapons to the bolas and have a much easier time freezing them... It will throw a lot of d'hide mage prayer runners into free kills...

    Think about this. Ancient mage is no longer needed for pures.

    Range and dds is all that needed. Bolas bind them then step back range. dds spec.

    thats a good point and it can be really helpful for range/mage tanks because then might not even need to bring ahrims + barrage they can just use range and still freeeze people
