Rate my sig

Yeah, got bored and tried smudging, i kind of suck at photoshop but hey, i like it
Rate the work, not if you hate kid cudi or not XD

 

9/10. Nice, but not perfect, cause it somehow feels empty.

 

Not bad.

The render could use some actual blending into the sig.

Text isn't the best either, could use better placement and blending.

 

I like it, cudi kind of sticks out a bit, maybe he could be blended more

Not sure, it just stands out a lot to me with the contrast in blue text on the gold/yellow part.

Text is often the hardest part of a sig, so maybe practice blending the render in first?

You need to experiment with layers and layer overlay settings, try adding more layers of smudge around the render to make it stand out. also consider lighting and shading to create a focal point.

Let the smudges kindof fit together.. As the purple-greenish part really hurts, also consider using adjustment layers (photo-filters, contrast layers etc.), they might spice up your work ALOT!

haha Austin it's not just a matter of using adjustment layers.
It's using them effectively is the trick.

Anyway I rate 5.5/10
Try to blend the render in some more. Maybe smudge his sides a tad bit.
Colours put me off tbh. I'd go for some red-ish shades to better match the focal point and not use the weird gold-brown colour
