IMO: Purpose of bringing wildy/ft back was to make enough money off of bots to create the new game engine (anyone seen the trees? Citadels soon?) A sky in RS is an entirely new plane, and is going to cost a hell of a lot.

 

Totally agreed, they should get rid of every dam powerbot botter / idiots who intentionally ruin the economy.

 

Yeah, the way the economy is deters me from training gathering skills and such.

On the flip side it would be a great time for me to level buyables, if I had any money! Lol..

I think the thing that annoys me more than the bots flooding the market with things, though, is people/groups buying out/dumping items.

 

Of course they would say that. I could hardly see them saying "We know about the botting problem but they're too advanced for us to catch" (which is the truth).

Yeah, Jagex is just a big corporate greed business, out to ruin our fun that they made for us, how selfish of them. They should just go bankrupt to make us all happy.
On subject: If they were to find a better way to combat botting, I don't think it would kill the game at all. They may lose a large number of subscriptions, but no player will quit thinking "Omg, there are no more bots? Fuck this game." They would eventually gain more players, like they are constantly doing.

This is all bullshit he is telling. They want the bots to stay, because they provide money.

 

It's called pretending to get rid of them while there are infact not doing anything because they make lots of moneys.

 

more then half of there members are bots. less members= less profit and fagex wouldent want that... Bots actually help the game by gathering ressources that no legit player does.

 

Ditto this. It would cost so much to get rid of bots and then they would loose the membership fee's the bots pay.

 

Hahah ur funny, I remember back in 04,05,06 people did kill 1K hill giants for 1K bones and that was like 300k profit. I did it and I'm sure as hell lots of others did to. They need to implement something into the game that will drain out at least 50% of Runescapes money. Hopefully citadels are extremely expensive and cost Billions to build, the richest people in Runescape will in fact buy them, and in return the Gold will slowly drain. :nuts:

 

Guys, why are you even posting things like this? It sounds like your posting what YOU want. Not what you realistically think jagex might do, the could do anything- what... I have no idea, but you can't just deny the fact they won't do anything as you can never be sure of that.

 

Your right, I would not be surprised if I woke up tomorrow and Runescape didn't exist anymore.

 

99% of the players are botting because the game is so boring

 

All these statistics are bullshit. 50% of players are bots? 99% of players are botting? Yeah right.
