    Ordering online, delivery experiences?

I like USPS/UPS, but I always get worried when seller only offers Fedex. Fedex is usually lazy and don't even knock on your door, I'm just worried because I bought a very nice bike and I don't want to freaking go pick it up. I had bad experiences with Fedex they don't even care if I'm home or not, just they drop it and leave as quick as possible. I'm just really hoping some guy who is nice enough to knock on the door telling me know that they have a big box with my name on it.

Do you shop online? Tell me about your experiences.

I've shopped online a few times and used Canada post and UPS, both delivery man knocked on my door and handed in it while taking my signature for proof of receiving it. Don't you have that in your place?

I prefer UPS. Fedex comes too damn early and I always seem to miss the delivery.

I always use UPS in the UK whenever the option is available, they always deliver to my area very well. Fedex is not bad either but I was once sent a gift from overseas, and they charged me a large customs tax :(

I prefer using courier companies because the national service in the UK (Royal Mail) is complete cack, and I've had really bad experiences with my parcels being damaged or lost.

Almost all of my purchases have been shipped via UPS so I don't have much experience with other companies... the only company that used FedEx was Texas Instruments.

Anywho, UPS has always been prompt and they come at the same time every day, so no complaints.

I've had terrible experiences with FedEx. Either UPS or USPS for me, if I have an option.

Dude, just ask them the seller to have them make you sign for the package at the door. They'll keep coming back until they catch you home and they won't leave it without a signature.

Once ordered a documentary with FedEx and they delivered it to the wrong address. I've never had such an experience with UPS or USPS, both of which I use frequently when buying items online.

I used some sort of Australian delivery group, can't exactly remember their name. They made sure I was home and had me sign, rather than leave my package at the door. It was a mouse, if I remember correctly.

I don't trust me neighbours with stuff like this, not because I think they'd steal it, but most of them are old and would likely think it was for them.

in the uk i generaly just get it from the Royal Mail and they seem like Fedex. If the package is too large to fit through the letter box, they generaly dont knock and just post a thing through saying come and pick it up at their delivery office. My nearest delivery office is just under a mile away and most of my stuff gets sent there bar one time when they decided to fuck me about and send it to the delivery office 28 miles away.
