Updated Guide How To Remove Your Recoveries

This is the new way how to remove your account recoveries.



The first thing you have to do is get your account locked
as Jagex thinks when your account gets locked you should
have new recoveries right away.


Follow these steps below to get your account locked:


1. Go to http://www.runescape.com

2. You want to sign in using the wrong password
until jagex temporarily blocks you.

3. Wait for 5 minutes then Go to :



4. Scroll to the bottom and click on:



5. Now enter your sign in name



6. You now want to put your email in and you will receive a email from Jagex.



7. Do not go onto the email they sent you and enter a new password.

8. Wait around 5 minutes until your account gets locked(If it doesn't get locked
then just do 1-7 again).

9. You now want to repeat this process without spamming the log in system.

10. When Jagex sends you the email this time you want to click on
it and enter a new password.


Your accounts recoveries should now be deleted.


Note: Jagex may temporarily block your IP because they might not think your
the originally owner. If this happens you will have to wait ____ Or if you can
change your IP quickly just do a account recovery and enter a new password
and your accounts recoveries will still be DELETED.

I have yet to find out how long your IP gets banned for, I will update it when I do find out.​

 

Sounds easy enough. Ill try this next time I need to cancel recoveries.

Dude thanks, after update it kept using your old recoverys and there was
like no way to remove them!, maybe now i can sell my damn account.

I think I accidentally did this on my pure =O

but I got it locked from something else, dont remember what though...

 

I've had loads of people use this method.. and it's worked for them and worked on many of my accounts. You must've done something wrong.
