What gender would you rather your child to be?

You can only have one kid due to your sperm infertility.

What gender would you rather your only child to be?

Male?

Female?


I'm indecisive on this matter. I'd probably rather a female.

 

Personally, I have always wanted a daughter. Yes, they may be harder to raise but I think it would be worth it.

 

I can only have one kid, because after the first I had a vasectomy.

I would rather have a girl (which I do), because I know when she has a problem there will be no hesitation for her to come talk to her parents about it. Girls love to talk about their feelings, and problems, and as much as I love drama, I really do, I help with whatever I can. That is when she gets old enough to have anything bother her.

 

I have to agree with Egu, i'd like to bring up a daughter also.

But I know that's not going to happen lol.

 

DEFINITELY a son, no doubt about it. I've always envisioned a future with a lot of children, preferential to boys a lot more over girls. Teenage girls = hell.

 

I want sons. You don't have to worry about them as much as having a daughter, plus I think I would have a harder time disciplining my daughter.

Male personally, because if it was a boy and I had an intention of having a second child, my oldest son can protect the younger one and in the other hand, I can teach him many things (Positive of course).

I want a max of two kids. One male (older) and one female (younger).

But if I were to only have one, then I'd pick female.

 

Male's are easier to raise. For that reason I would have to say male.

 

This seems like a very odd question, but I chose male simply because I'm a male and I want to have a son...

Happy with either. A boy would probably be more influenced by me, so it's easier to bring them up. No idea about how girls would be.

Female/Male, dosen't matter. It's a gift from God whatever so.

 

Actually, this is more or less a stereotype now. Generally the modern generation is moving towards females being either equal, or more desirable than males. This is simply because, families have came to realize that they will raise a son for 18-21 years, and then he will move to his girlfriends/wifes family, and they will never see him again. Daughters however, will always remain with the family, and bring home their husband/boyfriend, which can be considered the families new son.

 

A daughter, I seem to have more of an impact on females, where as men just ignore any advice I give them.

Yes that's rather stereotypical, but that's just my personal experience.
