She is not guilty. There was never a case against her. The entire case was complete shit and there was never a chance in hell she was going to jail with the evidence that they had. It was a waste of time and money to hold the trial and it destroyed the reputation of a NOT GUILTY, perhaps INNOCENT person. You all have been distorted by the media. Instead of blindly following everything that is told to you, try thinking for once.

I live in Orlando so i've been following this from the start 3 years back. All evidence put aside it comes down to common sense.

She has lied non stop, making up numerous amounts of people to cover her tracks, and the amount of chloroform in her daughters body is unnatural for a decomposing body. It was with out a doubt murder, and even if she drowned in the pool, she shouldn't be wrapped up like a dog and buried in the woods.

The justice system failed again and this bitch is going to make money off of her daughter.

 

Right, its perfectly natural for your child to die in an accident and you lie about it to the authorities for an extended period of time. Anyone who thinks otherwise, as SuF so sophistically stated, needs to try thinking.

For the record, she did get sentenced jail time for lying to the police, however she has served the majority of that time already, so she goes free shortly.

I agree that I justice system is flawed. I heard about the case and I also heard the media blew things out of proportion, too. Instead of complaining, we need to take the necessary steps to ensure that we improve it!

 

I see tons of people on forums/facebook enraged over the fact she killed her child and got away with it (probally). But everyday thousands of people are killed and many people are killed thanks to our own government and nobody seems to care. Don't blow this out of proportion, one death is one death.

 

Why? You did not watch the entire trial, so you have absolutely no grounds to be questioning their opinion.

The justice system failed? Almost all legal experts completely DISAGREE. Most say that this trial was a victory FOR the legal system. Was there any evidence that it was indeed her that search for chloroform on Google? No. They just knew SOMEONE did. Was there any evidence that the kid died from having duck tape over her mouth? No. None, at all. Was there any evidence that she died in a pool? No, but that is what we call "reasonable doubt". Using the same evidence that the prosecution gave, the defense gave another story of what happened, which fit the evidence PERFECTLY (since there really was none).

So, in essence this was a victory for every single person in America. I'd rather see a thousand suspected killers go free rather one one innocent person be put to death.

Have you ever had one of your children die in an accident? No? Well then, you have no grounds to question her behavior. Grief makes people act in strange ways and even though what she did wasn't right, it is not illegal and does not in any way provide any evidence at all that she killed her daughter. So, yes, any of the dumb asses that are harassing the jurors and are enraged need to shut the fuck up for a second and actually think for a second. Or go back to school to learn how the justice system actually works before they go having a hissy fit about it.

Flawed? No. This trial shows us that it works well. What failed here is the police and lawmakers for not enacting laws to stop people from not reported missing children and the police for not finding the evidence needed to actually present a real case.

 

Actually there is evidence that she is the one who searched, first off her parents occupation has them timed in during the search time and also after those Google searches were done the following websites were all linked to her, such as her facebook and instant messenger.

The justice system did fail and you would have to be extremely hard headed not to think so, just because she was found not guilty doesn't mean she isn't after all she is a liar and lying about her daughter's death is nothing to her.

What? She was crying during the trial constantly. What grounds do you have to say that her daughter meant nothing to her? None, indeed. People react to emotional stress differently and seeming normal could be her way of coping. The system, with most legal experts agreeing, did its job. There was no evidence and even if you want to count some random searches as evidence, I could do all of those things myself. That does not prove that I killed anyone. They also had no idea how she died or anything that linked the mother to the daughter.

There is a possibility that she is innocent, since there is no evidence that proves she killed her daughter, only weird behavior that might fit into a scenario that she killed her daughter which does not prove anything. So, the legal system worked as it should even if she didn't get what she might have deserved.

 

Again your impeccable logic astounds me young SuF. I also have never murdered anyone or committed rape; guess I can't question their behavior either. Hopefully you never end up on a jury.

Considering you are weakly expressing your opinion with the emotional vulgarity of a pre-teen, it seems as though you are in fact the one with the hissy fit.

The woman will most likely get what is coming to her; if our legal system cannot deliver it, I suppose some other vigilante will. Karma has a way of making things right in the end.

 

You missed the point entirely. People are using her actions as evidence to prove her guilt in committing a crime. She had her daughter killed (no matter how it happened) the emotional stress could have easily caused to to do anything and no one has a right to use her actions against her in regards to this case as everyone acts differently under stress. Oh, and what she did isn't illegal, even though it is most likely not right. So, you example has no relevance.

I am simply acting like the rest of America except I am defending the notion of innocent until proven guilty after actually taking the time to understand the trial. Unlike the rest of America, who listens to some dumbass celebrity lawyer who just wants ratings, I actually use my brain. If you believe that people stalking the jurors after the OJ trial, setting up cameras to look through their windows, spitting on them, calling them at 3am just to wake them up, etc, etc, etc, is okay then fine I'm throwing a hissy fit. But if you think that the people who are not unbiased and didn't sit there for the whole trial shouldn't be the ones deciding who is guilty or not then you should be pissed at America for being so full of dumb asses.

 

Gotta love the US legal system. Now grab some weed and go out and get caught by a cop, and enjoy being convicted, while murderers walk free.

If you are caught with weed on you, you can not say "I didn't have it because you have no evidence!". You had it. They linked you to it. This case had no evidence so she got set free.

Is everyone too ignorant to give her the benefit of the doubt? If there wasn't enough proof (clearly there wasn't if she was found not guilty), and she says she didn't do it, maybe she didn't do it.

@SuF- the lady who testified that she searched for 'chloroform' was Casey's mom, she said she was typing in 'Chlorine' but it misspelled, so then the State asked why was 'How to make chloroform' typed in she couldn't answer.

She clearly lied under oath to try to save her daughter, because there is no way that the Grandmother would have anything to do with the death of Caylee.

 

Best part is they can't try her for the same murder twice, so she can make millions telling magazines the truth.
