Bots are so advanced that i think the only chance Jagex have of getting rid of the bot problem is if they were to do a complete overhaul of the game engine.

I also wouldn't be surprised if we see a mass banning before the end of the year. If they leave it any longer than a year they are looking at a complete collapse of the Runescape market (which is already happening).

Jagex are stuck in a huge rut and they're going to have to think fast if they have any hope of saving Runescape.

 

couldn't agree more. The question is when will it reach an equivalence point? I can't imagine this many people would bot RSGP if it was selling at 25c/1m.

30-35c/1m seems like the eventual spot to me...although im just talking out of my ass haha

 

I just don't see a huge mass P2P banning happening anytime soon...as sad as it is for fagex, a LARGE percentage of players are BOTS.
Now them doing something in terms of Free Trade or perhaps a new system could put a hurting to botters, but that brings up the same thing i mention....Do they want to lose tons of money?

I think that eventually Jagex will knock out most of the bots out there, I mean they won't be giving up and one day there will be some sort of way. But until that happens, the price will only decrease.
