Buying Gold- Which is safer?

So, which is safer, buying gp from different people at little amounts at a time, or buying it in bulk- say, 1.5b - at a time?

My reason for questioning this is that people say it's unlikely Jagex checks trades under 100m; but if they happen all the time? From different IP's? I feel like that COULD be a red flag.

And, what sort of flag would be raised if I suddenly got a nice party hat from blah blah goldseller?

And, the most obvious question of all, How high is the ban-rate of buying rsgp from people on these threads? High, low? Worth it?

I think trading all at once would be your best option plus I think you would be able to buy for lower if you buy 1.5 bil

 

use an omm if you dont want to be scammed but just buy from a really trusted seller highly doubt they'll fuck you over good luck

BUT, what I mean is the Ban-Rate on RuneScape. I don't really want to be Banned for RWT I'm not as worried about being scammed as being caught by the Jmods.

I heard it's usually only the seller that gets banned on most MMO's.

Could be wrong, though.

 

Safest way to do it, I feel, it to stake it over the accounts. And act as though you're in the actual fight, eg. "thanks for the GP noob" "i'm so going to win" etc etc.

This way it look's real, and a lower chance of a ban rate.

In the buying RSGP amounts, i'd buy it all as one stock, say from Video, or Viou' or another highly trusted user, as they have the vouches that can tell a story.

The ban rate? Well there is now specific ban rate, though I feel that it would only be the seller that would get banned, and at the most, you muted, or such punishment.

I would just buy it all through a VERY trusted gold seller, and just stake it if you're paranoid about regular trades 0.0

 

Dude... do you know what dicing is? people LEGITIMATELY gamble high amounts like that. Go with buying all 1.5m all at once.

 

I suggest buying from a trusted member such as: Viou or Video.
If you're still feeling skeptical about it, use an OMM.

If you're planning to buy a lot of GP, definitely buy in bulk from a trusted member.

Also, don't worry about being caught by jagex, IMHO The safest way to buy gold, is by staking through duel arena.
If you're putting up the same amount of gp, or within the area of it, and the person you're buying off is within the same 10 levels. You should be perfectly in the clear.

 

lym although that seems good if the person isnt trust very well he could win and logg. their for doubling his amount to sell

maybe just dice it try and get the seller to start a quitting party/drop party

with question that he tells you the answer to to have it pree typed in the friends chat bar. so you win.

their is many ways i personally dont trade gold in a trade i do it in like a d party of a bank sale. i havent tried the stakeing bit but you could try and let me know how it works

 

Viou / Video make so much off sythe, they have no reason to scam.

 

My tactic is to buy the gold on an account that I dont care about. But I have never got banned for buying gold and I've bought from chinese and from sythe many times. Amounts ranging from 3m-250m...

So I dont consider buying gold for RL money a high risk activity. I still only do it on 'spare' accounts just to be safe.

 

Well, my problem with that is then I would have to do more multi-login, which breaks MORE rules.. I think it would be less risky to make the trade to my main?

stake / fake dice game.

And I've been trading over 75b in game, giving/accepting, and I've yet to be banned (All from one account)

And dice game/stake is HARD to keep track of (To prove you bought, unless you vid it)
Trade screen is the best way to keep GOOD records of it (Pic of 2nd trade screen, then pic of the trade screen away with "accepted trade" in the chat box)

 

Jagex will lock your account if you do a trade of 10b+, and then they will ban you the next day. As long as your trade is under 10b, and you're not on a Chinese IP, nothing will happen.

I've sold gold in quantities as large as 5b at a time, and none of my customers have ever received rwt bans

 

Hrmm That sounds reassuring. Currently, at what rate would most sellers give for a 1.5b trade? 50c/m? 45c/m? 55c/m? And what do you think it will be by, say, November?
